Dear Laura, Please accept our sincere apology that your stay at our Lake-house did not meet your expectations. It is our policy to go to great lengths to ensure our guests are comfortable and satisfied. Every guest is given my personal phone number should any questions or problems arise. In the event that there was an issue, I am more than happy to do anything I can to make things right. In response to your complaints about the airport, go cart rental, and skeet shooting, I hope to bring some clarity for you and future guest. First, there is a small, private airport several miles from our Lakehouse that only allows two-seater planes to land and takeoff. I have never viewed the planes as intrusive or problematic. In fact, we enjoy watching their acrobatics in the sky. These acrobatics are never performed over the lake, but at a distance. Secondly, there is a go cart rental several miles away from our location. I searched motocross in the area and found none. Third, Yes, this is a rural area and there is hunting during certain times of the year. There’s also the Keystone Heights Sportsman's club a few miles away where they do offer skeet shooting. Given the opportunity, I would have reached out to the club personally in an attempt to accommodate your needs and make your stay more pleasant. For my family and many guest over the years, Crystal Lake has been a most peaceful and serene experience. It is truly our, “Happy Place.” Homes on Crystal Lake are also highly sought after. It is not void of any noise, but filled with normal activities you find on any desirable lake.
