« Enjoyed our stay here in Gettysburg. Our room at first needed an extra bed but this was handled free of charge with care and helpful assistance. We liked the Civil War theme throughout - the star-studded carpet, the civil war artwork and cannon in the central foyer. There is a nice swimming pool and is near all the sites and battlefield. »

« Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better. »

« This is a “dressed up” low level hotel. Well below normal IHG standards. The hotel was at least half empty. They evidently hadn’t checked the room: tv didn’t work and no soap in the shower. Also, the shower door was incorrectly installed, allowing water to pour onto the floor, and whoever picked out the bedside lights didn’t take into account that a normal person can turn them on or off while in bed. Cute concept; poorly executed. »

« This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible. The owners helped us bring in our luggage and showed us around the house. They told us about the history as well as how to maximize our stay in Gettysburg. They found an...
