Our kids loved staying in a tiny house. It was the perfect fit for a family of four. There are three air conditioners which was perfect. Our 13-year-old caught so many fish off the little dock. It was a nice base area to check out the Keys. Even saw a manatee and a sting ray!!
Great location for exploring the Everglades and the Keys! Host was prompt with responses to questions. This tiny home accommodated two adults and one teenager well. We enjoyed fishing off of the dock and using the provided kayaks to explore the mangroves.
This was a perfect home base for our family to be able to finish our Key's vacation and explore the Everglades and Biscayne National Parks! The waterfront location was wonderful - our boys loved fishing and being able to go kayaking and paddleboarding. Have a 2 person kayak and 2 single person was wonderful for our family of 4 to be able to get out on the water! There was a K-cup machine and also a pour over coffee option and the kettle so it had everything we needed to start the day and head out. I love sitting out and watching the sunrise with my tea and a book. So peaceful!!The boys loved having the pool to swim in when we got back from exploring.
Everything was as described. It looks new or recently renovated and nicely decorated. It was perfect for the two of us but it could be tight for families. The location was good and just a short drive to town. We loved being right on the water. Communication with Jorge was great. All in all, I highly recommend the rental.
We loved the location and the property itself ( nice tiki bar ) but were unlucky with windy weather- this may have been why there were no fish to be caught on 3 of the nights - this was one of the main reasons I chose this property , also Florida has been hard at work blocking off any pullover spots to fish along the roads so we probably wonât be returning to the keys again- but if you are looking for a chilled little unit in a quiet location this ticks many boxes. We had a great meal at the Marker 88 restaurant just along towards Islamorada, great fajitas dish and right on the beach with live music
The property sits in a gated complex of lots of trailers and tiny houses situated very close together - most are on canals, this one is on the open water which sounded great but the wind was intolerable to be outside for most of our visit, which was disappointing (but obviously not the owners fault). I think next time I would choose a canal property just in case. we made great use of the kayaks and fishing poles when we could get out on the water, that was fun. The location between the Keys and the Everglades worked out well for us, manageable drives to our adventures. Pool is small but nice that itâs there. The house could use a few things: cutting boards (there is only a tiny very worn wood one yuck), something in the shower to hold stuff, hooks for towels, a drip coffee maker, a lamp so that people can stay up downstairs even if people in the loft are sleeping (there are only overhead lights), laundry detergent, better knives, a working ice maker (though the owner did help us access ice when we inquired), a full sized paddle for the paddle board. Also, the mattress in the bedroom has a big dip in the middle. We had a good time, but the house could really be improved with those few things. And the hammocks pictured in the listing arenât there - instead there is a nice outside dining table. And there definitely are not the bedrooms noted in the listing, it is one bedroom plus a loft, and a pullout couch in the main area.
We had the best time here. We loved waking up and watching the sunrise over water. We had fun taking the kayaks out and spent hours fishing off the dock. Everything was super clean and the beds were so comfortable. Thank you for a great stay!
Fabulous location, house, outdoor space and amenities. We kayaked several days including the secret cove and found our way into Long Sound for a sunset. Nice restaurants and shopping within reach. Made a day trip to Key West.Jorge was very helpful and informative.
What a gem. We had force ourselves to leave the property to explore. Lots of wildlife around and the kayaks/ fishing kept us entertained. Got along great with our neighbours.
We were 100% satisfied from booking to checkout. The pictures are accurate and the place has everything that you could need on the premises. And it was super clean too. The owner
This was the third location we stayed at during our Florida Christmas vacation and it was definitely the best! The home was immaculate, the location was great and we had a great time here. We utilized the kayaks daily and enjoyed relaxing on the deck daily. We would definitely stay here again, thank you!!
We loved this place. Clean, comfortable, convenient. Right on the water. Saw 3 manatees and a bunch of fish. Went kayacking right from the place. Bonus fridge outside, nice deck area with dock. Mu husband spent many hours on the dock watching fish. Great drive to Key West, spent 2 days there.
Great place to hang out if fishing and kayaking are things you love. Jorge was very welcoming and very easy to get in contact with. The place is small, but fits a family of four.
Enjoyable stay & very responsive host. Clean and comfortable tiny home for our family of 4. Kayaks and paddleboards were perfect for mornings and evenings on the water! Tiki hut and gas grill were perfect for time outside⊠caught mangrove grunts, mangrove snapper, blue crab, and more. Be wary of mosquitoes and jellyfish. Washer and dryer and 1.5 half bath made it so convenient for us!
Cute well utilized space. The dock is definitely nice. The kayaks and fishing poles add a lot of value. The water did not look like the blue water in the picture but more like lake water. We did not see any marine life, like manatees. Itâs quite easy parking. There was a little tiki and some mangroves to navigate that the kids really liked.
I probably would pick something further into the Keys in the future, as it didnât seem like there was a lot nearby, but more of a drive.
Host always quickly responded promptly.
What a great place to relax! We really enjoyed our stay at this little getaway. It was perfectly situated between the Keys and Everglades. If you like to fish, there are tons of little fish to be caught off the dock. I really appreciated the kayaks and spent every morning fishing from them. The little house was very clean and well laid out. AC was extremely good at keeping us cool. We can't wait to make a return trip.
The tiny home was an absolutely perfect homebase for our vacation in the keys and also touring the National Parks. We had no desire to go into Miami and Key Largo served as a great dinner locale. My husband fished every night and most mornings. He caught a bunch of fish, mostly blue striped grunts, but some ballyhoo. It was great and we are trying to plan another visit!
Adorable tiny home right on the open water! Clean. Beds were comfy. Wonderful outdoor space. We really enjoyed using the kayaks. Snorkeled right off the patio.(Recommended bringing water shoes) Beautiful sunrise every morning. Kids spent hours catching sea creatures. My daughter found a coconut in the mangroves and thought it was the coolest thing. I personally didn't use the pool but the kids enjoyed it. Definitely would stay again!
