Lovely hotel in an old victorian building in a prime location at the top of the town. It was the old railway station hotel. Hotel has a reasonably priced bar and extensive lounges. It also has lots of free parking with a hotel permit directly outside the hotel.Staff are excellent i woukd highly recommend this hotel

Going back in the summer when the weathers warmer the gardens and park around the hotle are magnificent

Years since we stopped here but still just a lovely as its always been. The staff are all very polite and welcoming. Dinner was of a very good quality. We stopped in a station room. So quiet. The building is very old and could do with a little more TLC especailly externally. Otherwise great value for money.

Nice hotel with good facilities for a short lakes break and is very clean and tidy. Parking right outside the hotel is easy and convenient. The hotel has a nice modern bar with relaxing seating area and restaurant with views of the lovely surrounding gardens. Staff very friendly and helpful, check in & out process was very efficient. Only downside is you can hear a few noises at night but to be expected with an old building. Would definitely stay again.

Booked up a couple of nights for my grandparents as they went over 20 years ago and they absolutely loved it. Service was amazing from all staff and they had an amazing time

Top hotel in Keswick.
Hotel position within Keswick is spot on. Staff are wonderful especially restaurant and bar staff. The meals were incredible. And the hotel still has a air of a time long gone and much miss. Beautiful place.

This is a quiet comfortable affordable hotel in the lake district. The food is delicious of good quality and a varied choice. The staff are polite and go about their job in a quiet way so as to cause as little disruption. Only downside but this is my preference no phones in dining room nothing worse ! Excellent otherwise

Lovely hotel with friendly and pleasant staff. Outstanding breakfast/dinner, great selection of bar drinks. Clean rooms, brilliant location, well kept gardens, plenty of nice space to relax with a drink in and around the bar. Very accommodating for our trip to the Lake District.

Lovely Hotel
In our opinion this Hotel should be 4 star not 3 star. Our room was very spacious clean with good on suite. There are many rooms in this hotel for various functions, some are almost stately. Very relaxing, especially when eating a meal with a good view. This hotel is in close proximity to Keswick city centre.10 minute walk. Breakfast is a simple buffet style. Staff are very helpful
