« This is in the most beautiful location and the staff are so helpful and the breakfast was amazing. You have parking facilitates and they gave us the most yummy flapjack on arrival. I lovely place to stay and feel comfortable with lovely residents. »

« Kettle in room was dirty brown yellowy in the bottom asked for it to be cleaned to be told it had been cleaned so was unable to make a brew in the room. Breakfast was ok although fried egg was not cooked properly very snotty. Boiled eggs uncooked today. The woman had bad attitude the way she spoke to guest blunt and rude. Would not stay here again. »

« Stayed with my son overnight on our trip to climb Helwellyn. Did the climb prior to checking in, as check in was from 3pm. Asked in advance if we could use the car park upon our arrival in the morning & it was no problem. Once we checked in, the room was good with a modern ensuite, ironing board, hair-dryer and coffee facilities. All the staff were friendly with a nicely stocked bar and it was fine to book a table for our evening meal. The menu had a good choice of meat and vegetarian options....

« Très décevant comme séjour. L'insonorisation est POURRIE (style feuille de carton) et les deux nuits nous sommes en plus tombé sur des fêtards qui profitent du fait qu'il n'y a pas d'employé la nuit pour se promener partout dans le lobby et corridor en faisant claquer les portes. Le matelas serait dû pour être changé, on ressentait tous les ressorts.. Bref, le seul point positif est le magnifique paysage entourant le lodge et le très bon petit-déjeuner (par contre on doit payer, non inclus). »
