Great little tree house style lofts in Bali

We came over to Bali for business and really loved staying at Aliya! We stayed at the back of the property in our 'Treehouse' style room which had a comfy king size bed, bathroom with a good shower, kitchen downstairs & tv (which we didn't even use as we just enjoyed reading on our daybed after the day). The staff were lovely and were always on call if we required anything which was so sweet. Location wise, we had a scooter and easily were able to travel between Seminyak, Kerobakan & Canggu when needed...everything seemed just so close. There was a little convenience store a few metres away and also a cute french coffee shop so it was great! Would definitely stay here again

Rude hotel staff, noisy

I had a terrible experience staying at Aliya hotel. Used the hotel car transfer to get to the hotel, upon arrival, was greeted by a very rude staff who demanded I pay extra for the transfer even though the price was already established. He proceeded to ask me for the extra money even though I was adamant about not paying the extra. When I checked out 2 days later, he was once again extremely rude - saying that visitors usually 'spend alot of money' and that I was a 'tight Singaporean'. Very infuriating and impolite hotel staff, even went as far as to say 'don't come back to this hotel'. Hotel itself was a wooden cabin, which looks appealing in the photos, however in reality did not provide any noise barrier. I could hear everything outside - including reception staff talking at night, traffic and even spoons banging. Highly do not recommend this hotel.

泊まるだけでも楽しめるヴィラ

気さくなスタッフが多く、親切な対応でした。リラックスして過ごすことができました。ただ、あると書いてあったアメニティがなかったので少し不便でした。とてもオススメです。

Beautiful and cost hotel

The hotel was really clean and comfortable even though the shower was always flooded. Mode of payment wasn't communicated clearly. We have decided to rent a motorbike from the hotel and highlighted that it to be charged to the room. However when we approach them to extend the rental on the following day, they wanted us to make payment for both days immediately. In addition, we visited their gelato cafe to have some ice cream and have told them to charge it to our room. However they approached us randomly much later in the day and requested us to make the payment immediately as well. They should have inform us that nothing could be charged to the room at first hand.

Peaceful and safe just 5 min from Seminyak

We really could not be any happier we chose to stay at Aliya, right from the moment we arrived everything was perfect. We still cannot believe this boutique villa complex is only around $50 per night with breakfast included. We organised via email ahead of our stay for a bike to be ready for our arrival and it was, a brand new Honda at a really great rate. Nothing at all was too much trouble for the staff here, they would go out of their way for whatever we required. Ask for a taxi and a metres taxi was there within 5 minutes waiting, need to book tours - no worries, need a bike - no worries, need any advice on anything - no worries at all. We stayed 13 nights in total and would definitely stay again. The location is absolutely perfect for a couple looking for a location that's not busy but is extremely safe. The hotel is manned 24/7 and you feel very safe. There is a beautiful creek running out the back which is very soothing and the birds chirp every morning amongst the tree tops. To Ferry and the team, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts, you are all amazing people who make a great team. We are forever grateful for your hospitality and your customer service is at a very very high level. If you are thinking of booking here just do it you can't go wrong.

Super Hotel in ruhiger Lage

Das Hotel besteht aus 8 zweistöckigen Bungalows. Unten befindet sich ein offener, sehr gemütlicher Aufenthaltsbereich mit Sofa und einer Küchenzeile mit Spüle und Kühlschrank. Im oberen Stockwerk befinden sich das Schlaf- sowie das Badezimmer. Ausgestattet mit Klimaanlage und Fernsehen. In der Mitte der Anlage befindet sich ein kleiner sauberer Pool. Die Zimmer sind sehr hübsch eingerichtet und sauber. Das Personal spricht Englisch und ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war frisch zubereitet und hat super geschmeckt. Ein Sternchen extra gibt es für die täglich frischen Säfte. Alles in allem ein super Aufenthalt und ein Hotel, das man ohne Sorgen denjenigen weiterempfehlen kann, die nicht unbedingt im lauten Kuta nächtigen wollen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Great exprerience in Aliya hotel. Very nice little hotel area with comfy bungalows. Was nice to have an own outside patio on the first floor to eat breakfest and spend time. Hotel personnel very friendly and helpful.

most welcoming place

i am a well seasoned business traveler being around quite a bit. i cant stand the boredom of 5 star biz hotels anymore and the nice pix of this beautiful place made me book it. now, after i have checked out let me tell that this place is absolutely beautiful for its setup and the super welcoming and friendly staff. no doubt i will go back! please note, if you apply standards of 5 star biz hotels you do not give this place justice, you will receive values such as understanding and genuine hospitality, no staged luxury surrounds! furthermore, its outside the hype of the central tourist districts, kind of village living, with dogs barking and people passing by saying hello; nevertheless the cheap taxis get you into the heart of fun if you define fun by joining the tourist community in 15 minutes. they have a spa as well which is very relaxing and pampering, i will go there again every 2nd day of my next trip to chill out. Bravo to the staff at Aliya!

Really great hotel - beautiful setting and rooms. 15 min walk from the main strip with bars and restaurants etc. Would definitely return if in Bali.

falls a little short ...

There are many positives here - but downsides too! Pretty, but for "intimate" read a bit too cosy for total comfort - I was glad it was low season and pretty empty as the downstairs living areas all look in to each other. Comfy bed with quality linens, but nowhere to put a suitcase. Huge walk in shower but only a "rain" shower no hand held option. Pretty pool, but far too shallow. Welcomed and expected on arrival (mid evening) but when I asked about the possibility of getting a beer, I was just told "kitchen closed" .... fortunately I know the road and there's a mini mart just up the street. For the price, there are better value options, in my opinion.

Hübsch- Service Flop

Auf den ersten Blick traumhaft schön. Auf den zweiten Blick bräuchte es etwas mehr Pflege (Aussen Küche etwas schmutzig, Sofa hat viele Flecken) Nach 24h Anreise und etwas sehr müde wurden wir vom Taxi direkt ins Zimmer befördert,kein Willkommen, keine Erklärung- war etwas komisch. Wifi hat im Zimmer nicht funktioniert, anscheinend schon länger. Airport Pick up hat super funktioniert, obwohl Taxi sicher günstiger gewesen wäre. Habe Blumen fürs Zimmer bestellt, hat nicht geklappt obwohl bestätigt. Check out hat ewig gedauert, wurden über 1h vertröstet, völlig unorganisiert. Haben Motorbike gemietet, Helme waren in unzumutbaren Zustand (schmutzig & eckliger Geruch) Pool wunderschön zum realxen! Nachtportiers waren am freundlichsten und kompetentesten, bravo! Manager konnte keine Empfehlungen geben... Zimmer sehr hübsch eigerichtet (wie auf Fotos!) Fazit: Hardware ok, Software unkompetent.

Lovely place to relax

Great place to stay and relax, close to many main attractions. Staff were fantastic, helpful and also respectful of personal space. The Aliya day spa was a small walk away again with great friendly staff and experiences to have. Overall would definitely stay there again.

GREAT LITTLE FIND

Found this little gem quite by accident - attracted to the two floor cottages attached to a kitchen and all that wood. It was perfect. Its still very new and everything is pristine. The rooms are super clean and very modern, with very thick comfy mattresses. The breakfasts are tasty and large. The staff are super friendly but unobtrusive. Its easy walking distance to Seminyak/Petitenget. Many restaurants close by include Monsieur Spoon, a great French cafe and a nice Georgian place almost next door and Nook on Umalas I. The only problem is the sudden losses of internet connectivity - apparently that is a Bali-wide problem. I plan to stay there again and have already booked it. Great Find!
