« Aside from the extraordinarily comfortable beds, clean and spacious room, balcony with beautiful view, the host Mikheil was the highlight of our stay! « We had a great stay at 1740. It's a very homely and cosy hotel (good for the cold weather!). The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed talking to the woman on the front desk. Our only suggestion would be to reduce the size of the breakfast. The food was good, but we were only able to eat about a quarter of it. »

Starting with points to improve : - Room not cosy, lacking furniture to store our clothes and things even though there is room for one or two additional drawers -Bed mattress in parent room not comfortable. "It’s a fairly basic hotel with very limited service. There is no real reception; check-in is handled by an elderly man, probably the owner’s father, who does not speak English. The room has no TV, coffee, or complimentary water. Breakfast is not included and costs €11 per person for a rather basic and mediocre offering. Overall, the place lacks warmth and atmosphere, much like the town itself, which feels quite dull and without much character."
