Only a short distance from Apartment Peter, you will discover the Sigmund Thun-Gorge, Kaprun High Mountain Reservoirs, Krimml Waterfalls (Europe’s highest waterfall) and the High Alpine Grossglockner Mountain Road.

In the winter, Ski resorts of Kaprun and Zell am See provide the best pistes in Austria. For beginners, the Lechnerberg slope is only 350m from your front door. The local resorts of Kitzsteinhorn (100% snow guarantee Oct- early summer), Schmittenhöhe and Familienberg Maiskogel offer over 138km of perfectly groomed pistes. In addition, the Ski Circus at Saalbach/Hinterglemm and the Höchkonig Ski Resort at Maria Alm can be reached within 40 minutes by car.
