L'absence de formule tout-inclus se traduit par une absence de fêtards et autres saoûlons et une tranquilité beaucoup meilleure. Les récifs accessibles directement de la plage sont superbes et permettent de voir en apnée des barracudas, raies et une bonne variété de poissons. Super établissement sur toute la ligne!

Séjour romantique au calme.
Très bel hôtel au calme par rapport à la ville de Cozumel. Les Chambres sont très confortables avec une excellente literie, La salle de bain est particulièrement soignée avec une douche immense très agréable et des produits d accueil de qualité. Très bonne literie, room service 24h/24, mini bar et machine nespresso avec dosette à café et thé à disposition. Ménage fait rapidement dans la matinée, préparation du lit le soir. Nous avions choisi une chambre « océan front«  la vue était juste magnifique avec un grand balcon vue direct sur la plage, la mer et le coucher de soleil, pas gênée par les nombreux paquebots qui font escales à Cozumel contrairement à celles situés de l autre côté ( reef rooms). Les restaurants sont tous très agréables proposant une cuisine de très bonne qualité. Le petit déjeuné est lui un peu décevant pour un prix plutôt élevé (50 Euros pour deux personnes non compris dans le prix de la chambre..) La plage et la piscine situés au centre de l hôtel sont juste magnifiques, un masque et un tuba et vous découvrirez plein de poissons aux alentours. Club de plongée sur place, très professionnels et vous évite ainsi les transferts tôt le matin. Dans l ensemble séjour plutôt feutré qui vous permet de découvrir au calme une île exceptionnelle pour ses fonds marins et sa nature encore préservée. N’ hésitez pas à louer une voiture ou un scooter une journée pour vous rendre à la réserve écologique pointe Sur, les plages y sont juste magnifiques et sauvages.

Great snorkel access right off the property and snorkel excursions that leave right from their dock - included breakfast is amazing - room views very nice and room amenities were terrific - very clean and nicely updated - I appreciated that pool was not too crowded and music was not too loud thankfully . Pool bar service a bit slow Service at the resort restaurants was amazing … food was just average for a five star hotel but better than the other places we ate in Mexico

Property is very nice. Room was excellent and big with comfortable beds. Water and reef are awesome for snorkeling. I liked the areas to the left and right of the property for relaxing and snorkeling. Wasnt a huge fan of the "beach" area. Restaurants are so expensive and food is just ok. This was a pretty big issue for us. Theres not much close-by so you are kind of stuck there with the food options and prices they have. Cozumel in general is kind of dumpy and all activities are geared toward cruise day trippers. I wouldnt recommend staying more than 5 nights. However, if you do have to stay in Cozumel, I would recommend this hotel. Just bring some snacks...

The resort is better than it looks in pictures. Service was prompt and excellent throughout. We travelled with our older parents and little kids and everyone had a great time. Water is crystal clear and calm. We were in the garden view rooms across from the second “quiet” pool, which happened to be heated, it was just perfect. Worked out better than being in ocean front rooms thanks to the calm and tranquil atmosphere. Each room has a large patio. The resort was unlike other big resorts that tend to be so busy and commercial. No wait times for dinner, or any meal service. Will definitely visit again!

We are quite convinced that this resort, a few years ago, would have been very nice, however it is now looking a little dated, worn, and, thus struggles to uphold a five star overall experience. For example, the ceilings in the rooms show very visible signs of previous water damage. The beach while small, is excellent, with access to crystal clear water. The staff work hard and are very friendly. Entertainment is lacking. Overall, it’s a nice resort and if Cozumel is your choice of destination, then this should be on your list to consider.

It is as a perfect location for me and my two teenage sons to enjoy the ocean and the island. The easy access to dive boats from the hotel pier was a bonus. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and perfectly clean with an outdoor shower and our own deck. Truly exceptional.

We had a sewage backup TWICE during our stay. Fecal matter bubbled up and into our bathroom in two separate places. It stunk terribly and we had to vacate the room for hours while the staff cleaned. After the second occurrence we asked to be moved and were placed in a similar room aside for the lack of a king bed. We had to sit around for almost two hours while the room was made up for us. This new room had two beds which was pretty unromantic considering I proposed to my then girlfriend during our stay. While I did get a “yes” the hotel only offered us a $100 credit and chocolate covered strawberries that were unfortunately covered in coconut. We both thought (as well as our friends and families) that this was pretty insulting considering the human waste in our room. Our trip was a small fortune, so it’s fair to say we’ll probably never come back to this resort.

They treat you like a king here. I can not say enough about the staff here, they are very kind, attentive, and work very hard. I always stay here when I come to Cozumel, the property is in a very nice secluded spot on the beach but close to town so getting a taxi to town isn't a problem. You really feel like you're living the high life at this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at El Presidente. It is by far the best place to stay on Cozumel. We had a beachfront room and were able to snorkel daily right outside of our door. It's very quiet and relaxing with not much to do except relax, snorkel, and dive. We had our 15-year-old son with us, and I was a little worried that there wouldn't be much else to do, but he was satiated with just the daily snorkeling since there's so much marine life to see. If I were to make any suggestions to the hotel, I would recommend offering a beverage and snack service to the Palapas right outside the rooms every hour or so....that was the only thing that I felt like was missing for a five star hotel.
