You're in it! One of Kansas Cities most beloved downtown neighborhoods! The River Market. This Trendy exposed brick studio sits on top of one of the neighborhood's most popular bar restaurants! (If you like to go to bed early this may not be the right unit for you, bar closes at midnight during the week and 1:30am on the weekends). You can take in the sounds and smells of Kansas City while relaxing in this cozy studio or step outside and ride the street car to any number of popular spots. Enjoy!

Studio apartment, open floor plan with one bathroom.
Some things to note: The bar noise does come up through the floor but I do provide earplugs for my light sleepers. Also I am working on getting the bath tub refinished, its clean, just looks worn.

Any part of the studio is available for guests

I personally live down the street and will be handing you the keys to the unit. I am always available for my guests so please don't hesitate to reach out to my cell if you need to :)

River Market is one of KC favorite neighborhoods, from the red brick lofts, to the farmers market many Kansas City-ans call this place home. Being about half a mile away from the Power and Light district and Crossroads Art district is also a plus!

Street Car right outside the studio; Uber and Lift are also very popular.

We require renters to be 21 years old or older.

Not for Everyone

Too loud, as in way too loud. In all fairness the host Pointed out that the noise is mentioned in the property description which we did not read. Still, I'm hoping this review will help at least one person avoid accidentally renting a place that does not allow you to Sleep.

Location was the best part!

This apartment couldn't be any better located. It is right where you want to be. The Farmers Market and the trolley are within a short distance, and great restaurants/shops are a few steps away. This location allowed us to overlook a few minor concerns with the apartment. One was that the noise from the bar below was extreme. The property owner left earbuds for use, but they are uncomfortable to sleep with if you are not used to them.Secondly, there were only two towels for two people to use for a four-night stay. The host was attentive and made everything easy. I would definitely stay again, however, I will be bringing my noise machine to help me sleep through the bar festivities.

Great location!

Very impressed with our stay. The location was perfect and the neighborhood was very clean with cute shops and lots of food options within walking distance. Easy to get an Uber to go places. Off street parking was a huge bonus! Host was very great with communication. Definitely would stay again!

Location! Location! Location!

If you are in the area because of something downtown, this is the place! The streetcar (free) stops right in front of the building and will get you within a few blocks of anywhere in the downtown area! We were in town for a concert at The Truman and loved the convenience of the streetcar! So many food options in the direct vicinity! The host was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!

Nice Flat and great location

Just a block away from River Market, this cozy flat has everything you need. The bed is comfortable, and there is a fun bar under the apartment for those that want to have a night cap before tucking in. It's a short walk to the River Market with great options for coffee and fresh food. The City Market Coffee is outstanding. Tons of restaurants, the Steamboat Museum, etc. Take the streetcar to the WWI museum. It's a great walk with amazing history and a clear view of the area. Also, if you want a great steak, make a reservation at The Majestic.

Great location and accurate description of accommodations

First time in KC and this location was perfect! The place was clean and looked exactly like the pics. Host is awesome - easy to work with and welcoming. The bar noise is real - but it didn’t bother us at all. I am glad the host tells you about it in advance. You cannot beat the location - we could walk on the river in the morning, grab coffee and breakfast near the place and then take the free transportation to where our son lives. It was perfect!

One very large room. Simple but tastefully done. Comfortable bed. Adequate small kitchen. Above all it was very clean and property manager very attentive to my questions. Good value. Would stay here again.
