Magnifique vue, très bel hôtel
Magnifique emplacement pour séjourner à Kandy. Le service n'est toutefois pas à la hauteur de la mention "Palace in the hills" affichée par l'hôtel ! Un peu vieillot mais le lieu garde un charme exceptionnel.

The property location and gardens stunning amongst the hills, but 4-5km from town. Rooms were really lovely and most staff friendly. However for the price of the property and what they offer leaves a lot to be desired. Thought the buffet was just very average, service on drinks very slow( or they’d even forget) One bottle of water in your room and if you wanted anymore you had to purchase. In your room was only a couple of tea bags and coffee, when we asked for some Green or Herbal tea, we were told they didn’t offer that. In comparison to other properties and for similar or less price was pretty average

Payment confusion
The hotel had a great atmosphere but the staff had major confusion when checking out as they were telling me that I haven’t paid for the room and I need to pay the balance, I showed them the invoice which I paid but they refused from there side.after calling Hotels.com via telephone I was able to resolve this matter, I was disappointed really disappointed as I wanted to attend my friends wedding but due to this incident I was delayed

Short stay at Amaya Hills
We stayed for here for our first two nights in Sri Lanka - a lovely hotel in the beautiful hills near Kandy. The location was great for us to make the most of our time in and around Kandy - the people were really friendly and the place was spotless.

Very old hotel. Not worth for money. Smelly toilets. I had to change the room due to toilet smell . Friendly staff. Overall poor quality hotel.

Not a pleasant stay. Really overpriced for what it is. Very dated hotel, the rooms weren’t nice and the bathroom smelled. We would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel was quite good and clean. Food was nice thought bit pricy. View from Pool and Lobby was amazing specially evening sunset.

Hotellet ligger langt oppe i lia og tar tid å nå med bil/tuktuk fra sentrum av Kandy. Hotellet er flinke til å organisere rimelig og effektiv transport. Ok mat og drikke. Kjølig basseng.

Beautiful view! Far from noisy center of the city. It’s good to have a relaxing time in Kandy. It was about 500 - 700 rupees to go to the city by Tok-tok
