Wooded acreage with creek- 10 minutes to town

Get ready for a relaxing Montana experience! Nestled in the quiet mountains just south of Kalispell, our 6 acre property boasts abundant wildlife, meandering Patrick Creek, and plenty of tranquility. Skiing and lake life are only a few miles away, not to mention hiking right off your back deck to 6000 acres of publicly accessible forest land. Drive a little further up Patrick Creek Road to some spectacular hiking with views overlooking Flathead Lake and the little town of Somers. After hiking, drive a quick 4.5 miles north to the Foys Lake Public Beach for a quick dip to cool off or enjoy a whole afternoon there with kids.

Our new construction one bedroom, one full bath apartment features vaulted ceilings, open concept, a fun double bed hideaway loft, queen living room sofa sleeper, king master, galley kitchen, granite dining table with seating for 6, a private deck with grill and Starlink high speed internet. Parking is available under a covered carport from which there is a flight of stairs up to the private entrance of the apartment.

Come and enjoy Glacier National Park and then soak up a quiet evening on the deck watching the horses graze! Crib and highchair accomodations can be made. We look forward to hosting you soon!

Wonderful
10/10 experience. So many thoughtful touches made it feel like home away from home. The bed was so comfortable. Amber was really helpful with recommendations as well. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Super clean, very thoughtful/useful amenities for my family (seriously, you can tell that the host has raised kiddos!) All around lovely, Amber was SO kind… My only comment is to clarify that the rental space is directly connected to owners home & over their double garage area, which was in use for vehicle repair while we were there. The noise didn’t bother us, but we would’ve preferred a separated structure for the rental space. {perhaps the ad actually did say that but I didn’t see it, my apologies} Again, super lovely but it was more of a home stay experience than what we were expecting. Really loved our stay at Amber's place and the location and setting of the house is perfect and postcard like. The hosts are really prompt in their reply and we simply had no issues staying there. Would recommend the place to everyone looking for a place to stay.

Beautiful, quiet, cabin-like
Beautiful views of mountains, wildlife (wild turkeys and deer), as well as the property owner's horses. The cleanest and most organized short-term rental we've ever been in--many have random items left from various trips previous, incomplete dishes, etc.--but not Mama Tia's, this one was like we were the first people to stay. Shouldn't be surprising knowing that the owner is nearby and herself owns a cleaning business. Cookware, all the appliances, dishes, and spices available, Keurig with coffee pods, as well as a small (about the size of a pack 'n play) crib for our 2-year-old was perfect. Very nice deck out the front porch (back of the main house, which is more private as well) with a table, chairs, BBQ, and flowers. Though this space is technically attached to the main home (second floor accessible via the deck), there aren't really shared walls, and a double-door pass-through via the apartment pantry makes a very effective sound barrier--never heard anyone else!

Quick Trip to Kalispell Montana
At the last moment we decided to make a quick trip to Kalispell Montana to look at some puppies that were available. Amber's apartment was available so we stayed there. The VRBO was clean and had absolutely everything that we needed. There was even a bed in the loft and a sofa sleeper in the living area where more people would be comfortable. The VRBO is in the country where it's quiet but not far from Kalispell where you can do many things. I. would highly recommend this to anyone going to the area.

Lovely cabin like loft in the woods
Beautiful setting, quiet, comfortable, and quaint! This was not our first stay here and it definitely won’t be our last! We truly feel and are treated like family! The place is always clean and well equipped! Depending on the time of year that we visit there are always treats: fresh eggs, homemade bread, hot apple cider by the fireplace, and if you are lucky you will encounter a lovely teenager tending to the animals or gathering firewood. The bed is very comfortable as is the sofa in the spacious living room. If we need anything the host is always willing to help provide or guide us to the nearest store. Thank you once again for a wonderful visit to our little paradise!

The apartment was perfect and when I return, you can bet I'll book thru you all again!! The deer. Horses. Turkey made it all the better. Waking up every morning with a cup of coffee and the patio onto the horse ranch, just amazing!

AMAZING!
I had a great week. I loved the location - it was remote enough to be in the wilderness with the deer and close enough to great restaurants in Kalispell and White Fish (cute downtown shopping, dining, etc.). The property is beautiful, I loved the private back deck for coffee in the morning while listening to the chickens. Everything was very clean, quiet and just perfect! Thank you to hosts Amber and Scott for your helpfulness as well. (OH, and the puppies are an extra added bonus!). I'll definitely be back.

Liked to stay longer
Unfortunately we only had one night to stay as we were basically traveling through. The surroundings are very peaceful and quiet and you feel you are more imbedded in the local community. The space was as advertised and comfortable. Even though it was a hot day, it cooled down pleasantly at night without the AC unit having to run. We had relatives with us from Europe so glad we could get out in the country to experience Montana.

A relaxing and beautiful country getaway
We throughly enjoyed our stay in Kalispell. The home and property were beautiful and a perfect retreat when we weren’t exploring Glacier National Park and all the the area had to offer. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals along with the grill and deck seating. Amber and her family were great hosts and easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to go back someday!!

Place was nice but isn’t suited for more than two adults with maybe a couple of older kids. Sleeping conditions for more than that or 4 adults are not good. Only one real bed and stairs to loft is really a steep ladder. Sleeper sofa is unsleepable. There were only 2 small coffee cups so again no more than two adults. Located up a fairly long and rough gravel road far way from town. Owner was friendly. Pretty setting. Very expensive for what is offered.

Lovely accommodations with exceptional hosts
We stayed at this attractive garage apartment to attend a three day event at Rebecca Farms in July. I have stayed in a lot of VRBO rentals, and the hosts here, Amber and Scott, were probably the best of any place I've stayed. I came with my sister and her 10 year old daughter. The hosts gave us complete privacy, yet they were happy to chat with us as well at any time. They had 6 week old puppies which OF COURSE we wanted to play with! I always love meeting new people so it was a delight for me that Amber and Scott were so friendly and welcoming. The road leading to the residence is not paved so it had a little washboard feel to it and was very dusty. To me this was the biggest drawback, but we got used to it. We saw deer on just about every excursion down the road. The temperatures during our stay were quite hot in the mid to upper 90's. The air conditioning consists of a window unit in the main living/kitchen area which did a nice job of keeping that area cool. There is no unit in the bedroom though so my sister and I did get a tad toasty. The kitchen was fairly well equipped for cooking just about anything. We couldn't find any measuring cups or spoons, but that was a very minor thing. The washer and dryer is a combo unit which was a bit temperamental. We used it successfully twice, but then it had change of heart and decided to flood their garage. They were incredibly gracious about this! All around a great stay!

An escape from the day to day
Our host was the sweetest! She left us a jar of local jam, had coffee pods available, let us use their blaster hose to clean up, let us pet their puppies, offered tools for things we needed to do, and treated us special guests! The place was homey, and exactly as shown. Literally saw deer in the front and/or back yard every day, and the horses were friendly, coming to the fence for some petting time. Nothing bad to say! Nothing I would recommend to change. The internet/phone service was spotty, but this is off the beaten path, and to be expected. Love this family, and thankful they shared their apartment with us.
