Access to Trikala and other major cities of the area is easy and there are regular bus and train routes connecting Kalampaka to Athens and Thessaloniki. There is a taxi stand nearby, too, so call a taxi and it will come to your door in no more than 2 mins.

This is definitely one of the most precious early Christian basilicas around Greece and, even nowadays, serves as an active church for the locals.
