Come enjoy your vacation at Keauhou Punahele #E301! This three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo has high ceilings, an open layout, and a large lanai. Relax and take in the ocean and golf course views, fully stocked kitchen, smart television, and fast WIFI.

Upon entry into this home, you are welcomed by an open layout of the living area, dining room, and large lanai. Enjoy relaxing in the space with ample seating for all your guests. There is a smart television for you to sit and stream your favorite show in the living room. Have a sit-down dinner at the dining table inside or dine outside al fresco on the lanai. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the gadgets needed for cooking.

The primary suite is downstairs with high ceilings, a king bed, a private bathroom, and a large walk-in closet. The guest room is downstairs with two twin beds and a guest bathroom in the hallway for guests' use. The loft bedroom is upstairs and is open-air style. There is a full bed, a twin bed for guests' use, and a bathroom upstairs. A great place for a bird's-eye view.

Enjoy the pool, hot tub, and BBQ area that is available for guests' use at this property. Keauhou Punahele looks out on the Kona Country Club Golf Course and is a close walk to Keauhou Bay. You are close to shopping at Keauhou Shopping center, which offers restaurants, grocery shopping, a cinema, and much more.

There is no elevator for this unit.
One flight of stairs is required to get to the loft inside the unit.
There is no air conditioning at this property.
There is a railing in the loft area and is not suitable for young kids unless supervised.
This property does not allow any floats, pool toys, jumping, diving, or splashing. It is a quiet pool, and all children 14 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Babies and toddlers need to wear swim diapers.

We have stayed in this condo, Unit E301, twice for a week each time. First in winter of 2021 and now spring 2025.The positive: we really love the layout and spacious feeling of this condo. It has three basically separate areas, although one is the loft. Each has its own bathroom. We love the lofted ceiling and clearstory. The huge lanai with a beautiful view over the golf course with the ocean in the distance and palm trees is amazing. It's wonderful to wake up and sit on the lanai listening to the birds! We love the visiting geckos who roam the property. The location is great for Kona related activities, but is an hour drive to the main beaches up north.The negative: Many items in the condo are aging or broken. Specifically: the toaster only works on one side, the main garbage can step doesn't function, so you have to lift the lid by hand each time, one of the cabinets won't stay closed, most of the beach items in the condo are broken or far past their prime (broken and very old chairs, only one too-small, cheap, partially broken umbrella). The lanai screen doors are very finicky, and apparently won't lock. The toilet in the primary bath runs.Also, the manager doesn't respond to regular questions during off hours unless you contact the emergency number, and there are some unreasonable rules such as absolutely no playing outdoors in the grass or in the pool area.Thank you!

Overall a nice comfortable place. Beds were good and kitchen was pretty well appointed. Nice new grill on the deck. Had some issues with ceiling fans not working and some of them were addressed. Fans on lanai (with lights) still never worked. Kitchen cabinet was busted and even after repair was still janky. WiFi was spotty and only allowed three out of four of us to connect after multiple tries. CB was very communicative and accommodating for early arrival (thanks!). The condo just felt dated and a little tired in some of It’s appearances. Only saw two cockroaches but had a friendly gecko to help keep things positive. The condo location is pretty far away from most of Kona but close to a grocery store and a few restaurants. We did walk to the farmers market but that was about it. The vibe of the compound was a little standoffish and not very welcoming. We even got a noise complaint on our first night for loud music after 10. (We were tired from travel and asleep by 8:15 so it certainly wasn’t us) Overall a nice condo but we won’t book again.

Great place, that is exactly as listed. Very clean, and quiet. There was a cute social that we as guests were invited to do a potluck but weren’t able to attend due to plans. Internet connection was unstable, we did reach out with very prompt responses back from host. Location is good, but not much is really in walkable distance due to no sidewalks.we had a rental car and found it very easy to drive around the island, so it wasn’t a big deal.

The property was very well located and had access to all needed amenities. Plenty of space and (mostly) well equipped. The bad. When we arrived the ceiling fan in the kitchen was not working. We messaged the property manager and they sent a handyman. They were able to turn the power off (motor was overheating but blades not turning); but never returned to fix it. The floor fan in the loft did not work (power button broken, sent message but never got a reply), only one side of the toaster worked and lastly many of the screens on the windows and doors were torn. This led to the ugly. When we opened doors we were inundated with bugs, a big issue but not a deal breaker. The biggest issue were the cockroaches. Every day we killed 2-5 in various areas. We knew there was an issue as there are roach traps in various corners. It’s very off putting to have to kill roaches on your vacation. This is the reason for not wanting to re-book or recommend to anyone.

The condo was perfect for 5 ladies celebrating a birthday week. We appreciated having the barbecue on the lanai. We ate most our meals at the condo- kitchen was well supplied. Improvements that would be the rental: need some sharp knives; need a new toaster (only 2 of 4 slice holders worked). Also was disappointed that the condo advertised a Smart TV — but wasn’t available. Couldn’t stream Netflix or other online platforms. Couldn’t mirror photos on my phone to the TV.

Very clean place. It had everything inside that we needed. We had 3 cars and there is only 1 designated parking spot so that got challenging at times. It is warm in the loft but the bedrooms were fine for sleeping temperatures.

Love the location. Minutes from the town, beach, markets. The place had everything we needed. They have washer and dryer, which was great. The only issue was the dryer had no heat. We washed our clothes but couldn’t dry them. We were told that the place doesn’t have AC which we were ok with since we were there in February. It was still a little stuffy at times. Definitely not a place you want to stay in the summer time.

The property was pretty and very clean. Beautiful sunsets…the first impression seemed good. Within moments my 3 year old almost slipped through the balcony as we were exploring our new place. The balcony gap from the floor to the rail is bigger than normal at 5”! I went to lock the screen doors to keep my child safe only to find them broken. The screens were falling out and the lock didn’t work. We found a 4 page front and back list of rules for the property that we were not made aware of when booking. The pool has 24 hour quiet times with things like no loud or repetitive noises or games, no splashing, or toys. No playing on the grass, no beeping your car fob to lock if it makes noise, no talking in the parking lots and more! We rented this unit for our family and young children and we were not able to use the amenities which was very disappointing. If we had known the rules up front we would have chosen a more suitable place to stay. The dryer did not work but it was thankfully fixed promptly. The blinds in the master bedroom were broken.. both of them. A bunch of the cabinet doors were held closed with scotch tape and kept swinging open causing us to hit our knees and heads. A piece of tile fell off from the master shower. The fridge stopped cooling during the night and we lost over $300 of groceries we had just bought. We were told we would have it refunded but it’s been a couple weeks and still nothing. Our stay was stressful and not as expected. So many things went wrong. The property itself is a nice spot, good location but not for families with young children as it is a place for older folks to relax and live. We were very disappointed with our stay and the lack of knowledge given to us about the communities rules. I don’t feel like the property was ready to be rented out as lots of things needed to be fixed.
