ALOHA! Bel hotel, bien situe sur la plage (qui est publique), au coeur de toutes les boutiques, resto, tours . Snorkeling, chaises de plage et paradol inclus! Et le snorkeling est facile et magnifique. Sur le bon côté de l ile, il n a plut qu une seule fois 30 min en 9 jours.... pas la même meteo du cote de Hilo... Sur place laveuse,secheuse Service de concierge, de location de voiture sur place L hotel est tres grand, il effectue actuellement des reno de peinture.... j espere qu il changeront le tapis (beurk.....) la réception de l hotel est bien. 3 ascenceurs rapide! Chambre avec balcon tres agreable surtout pour un long sejour. Frigo mais pas de micro ondes, dommage. Seul Bemol: les matelas ne sont pas confortables!!!!!! Apres 2 nuits nous sommes aller demander a changer de chambre, on nous a accomoder immédiatement. Le 2e lit etait bcq mieux mais encore mou. Excellent service du personnel Les restos sur place sont un peu cher. Belle piscine et spa, un aire de jeu est amenager a l ombre (Boccee ball, ping pong, mississippi....) Possibilité de louer kayak, canot sur place Pres de l epicerie et de plusieurs Cafe Nous avions louer une voiture, donc faut ajouter 26$ US par jour pour le stationnement. Un beau sejour a Hawaii!

Hôtel bien placé dans Kona
Hôtel bien placé dans le centre animé de Kona. Petite plage fermée idéale pour les enfants. La chambre est spacieuse mais la salle de bain petite et manque d’aspect pratique (une seule patère pour pendre la serviette), pourrait être facilement amélioré de ce point vue là. Elle était située dans la partie est au-dessus d’énormes ventilations de la clim très certainement. Donc très bruyant. La décoration de l’hôtel est un peu dépassée et manque de chaleur avec de grands espaces plutôt froids. La climatisation est poussée à fond dans les parties communes, ce qui nécessiterait de nous prêter un manteau pour rejoindre la chambre, absurde. Le parking coûte 25$ par jour, un prix négocié semble-t-il. Une absurdité également mais qui se pratique dans d’autres hôtels : coût de 20$ par jour pour bénéficier de 2 petites bouteilles d’eau, des transats, un seul cocktail de bienvenu. Pourquoi ne pas un inclure ce prix dans celle de la chambre étant donné qu’il est obligatoire ? Pour ma part, n’ayant pas profité de la piscine j’ai la sensation d’avoir payé 20$ les petites bouteilles d’eau par jour. Si tout cela ne vous rebute pas, vous passerez tout de même un bon séjour.

I was perfectly fine with the hotel until I saw what my money could have gotten me at the Waikoloa Beach Mariott. When you compare the two…hands down I would have much rather stayed in Waikoloa. Better beach and much nicer hotel. King Kamehameha had great nearby shopping and restaurants within walking distance so we didn’t lose out too bad. The hotel was a bit dated and I was totally disgusted when I bent down to retrieve a comb that looked like mine and discovered it was not mine and there was a huge dead roach attached to it!! Also I booked with breakfast and when we arrived discovered that my breakfast was not included after all. Check your booking. The food is not worth the full price they charge.

I love the quick access to everything near Kona. Parking was easy. The pool was closed for remodeling during my stay but it was not an issue due to near beach access. There were no issues with cleaning every 2 days.

First thing is the fact that the pool closed the day we arrived and the area went under construction. That was dusty, very loud and inconvenient, since our trip was to be an escape to an island for peace an quiet and lounging around the pool and bar. We could use the beach but we could not drink there??? Our ocean view room was of the tennis courts in back of parking lot with a view of ocean in a distance over the tree tops!!!

This is a fantastic hotel in a lovely area of Kona. The rooms are great, clean and specious. Having the beach next to the hotel is a bonus and if you love snorkeling then you’ll be in your element with so many varieties of fish in the beautiful white sand bay on the back of the hotel. There’s also lots to do with for entertainment with a daily calendar of activities for everyone. The main activity to experience however is the Traditional Leau at the historical location also in the hotel’s grounds. Breakfast is absolutely fabulous too with a great selection of food options both hot & cold. The only downside of our trip to the Marriott King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel was that we were not able to use the swimming pool due to it being closed for renovations. Otherwise this is a great hotel.

The room was great. Balcony overlooking the beach and luau area was amazing. Unfortunately the pool was being resurfaced which was not known at booking. Also, there were some bugs in the room. The displays and artifacts from the history of Hawaii in the lobby area were very interesting. Found

Booked for our honeymoon and found out while checking in that the pool was being resurfaced and could not be used. We would've chose a different hotel as this was one our deciding factors. It was not handled well and was very disappointing. Breakfast Buffet was decent. All staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was nice but bath tub was a little dated. We had flys that kept coming in from the drain.

Great Hotel in an Excellent location. Hotel has many activities and even the launchpad of many other external activities is right next to this Hotel. Hotel's Restaurant is also very good.

The hotel grounds were beautiful and the staff was welcoming. A few things I didnt care for: we didnt have housekeeping the 3 nights we stayed, the towel service and pool side service was lacking, and there was no connection from the room to call fromt desk or houskeeping. Other than that everything was great. Next time I would ask the front desk more about housekeeping to at least remove the trash and peovide fresh towels.

Quaint bay beach right in front of the hotel, quiet waters and very safe for kids. Beach and restaurant facilities spotless. House keeping was lacking. Our rooms got skipped on their every other day service routine, and we were left with a pile of dirty towels for two days. Efforts to remodel/update rooms actively on its way. There were rooms getting new paint and repairs done on our floor all week long. Ocean view balcony was a pleasant place to start and finish the day. Live entertainment in the hotel was varied and fun. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and good. Cheaper options nearby. Highly recommend Fish Hopper just a block down the boardwalk.

It’s very convenient to walk to restaurants and explore around the resort. Our room has so my stains on the carpet (of course, I talked to the front desk as soon as I noticed the stains in the room since day 1) Overall, I will be back to stay here again in the future because it’s so convenient for me and the kids.

The low rating is for not getting what you pay for at the resort which is really a 2 star hotel. There is a urine type smell on the main floor. The beach is very very small. Staff is fine, but notthing close to above and beyond, more like good enough. Almost everything comes at an extra charge including activities, along with the hidden fees. If you want a truwle resort experience at the same price stay in Waikoloa.

Housecleaning is every other day (if you’re lucky) rooms are dated and bathrooms are very deteriorated. We needed to ask for toilet paper and towels everyday. Not a great experience.

They will charge$30 powered day for parking if you Turo a vehicle. Park up by the Taco Bell. Turtles are over at Small Harbor. To the right.

Ocean view is not true ocean view …have to walk out to your balcony to see the ocean. This is technically a partial ocean view. There photos are completely misleading. When called front desk to see about switching rooms they said the room id want is ocean front and they’re all booked.
