Aloha! Bienvenue à la maison! La maison est à 3 pâtés de maisons de la meilleure plage de sable blanc de Kailua! Cette propriété est une rénovation de maison de plantation avec des appareils en acier inoxydable avec AC dans le salon et le lit principal. Cette maison a un design inspiré de Bali et comprend une merveilleuse douche extérieure. Le quartier est calme et parfait pour vous détendre. La propriété est à 5 minutes de la ville de Kailua où les commerces et restaurants sont proches. 30 jours + location.

Coconut Grove
We enjoyed our stay at coconut Grove. It is walking distance 15-25 minutes to down town Kailua and to the beach park. The unit is really cute with a bohemian vibe. Despite being on a busy street the backyard is private and we enjoyed many evenings (even when it was raining) on the back porch. It is comfortable and has a great little kitchen to cook lots of great local foods from the nearby grocery store. The few issues (and there weren’t many) was that. The laundry area was full of towels and sheets and some of them in bags just left outside. The shower handle was broken, but we could jiggle it to get right temperature. The address first given to us were from the units down the street so we got a bit lost. The parking is limited and you need to be extremely careful backing out onto busy street. The checkin was a breeze and it was a great accommodation overall while staying in Kailua. Thank you to the host. Mahola from Canada!

Good location, cute house!
This house is in walking distance to many shops and restaurants! You can walk to the beaches or drive quickly. There is a nice patio with lights to hang out around. The property owner was really responsive to all our inquiries. The kitchen is really nice and well equipped for cooking meals! Unfortunately the ice and water on the fridge aren’t hooked up. There is ac in the living room and a comfortable couch. There is also ac in the main bedroom. The other room and bathroom get extremely hot even with fans. The bathroom doesn’t get much ventilation and doesn’t have a fan so we had to dry our towels around the house. Like other reviews this house is rough around the edges. For example, we had to screw on the shower handle so it would turn on and off. The shower has a rain shower head but it’s coming from a visible hole in the sealing. There are screws protruding from some of the doors. The front door does not seal properly or stay closed unless it’s locked. Overall though we enjoyed our stay and the house is nice with a kind owner.

Clean, Cozy house in Kailua. Close to town and beach with a car. Only one of the bedrooms has a/c but wasn’t bad with fans. Would stay again!

Great Location but needs some attention
This unit is in a great location, but it is tired. It appears that is was once cared for but is lacking right now. The linens are pitiful. The listing discusses laundry available, not the case when we were there. So many things stuffed everywhere.

Could be a gem
This rental has so much potential, but unfortunately, just misses the mark on some key items. The location is fantastic and convenient. The backyard and porch are an excellent hang out area and quite private. The parking is not described well as noted by other reviews. Luckily we met our follow rentals right away but had to text each other each time we were coming and going. The entry gate is in need of repair. The inside furnishings don't seem to match the photos. Couch and chairs are in need of updating. The kitchen and bath are really well done, just need to fill the cupboards more. No sharp knives, limited cookware, etc. Multiple lamps not working or bulbs not working. Bidet and outside shower are nice. Overall, this is a fair property, but for the price, I feel it needs some updated furniture, mattresses, linens etc.

One of the most beautiful houses I’ve stayed in on Oahu!
My friends and I really enjoyed the coconut grove house. From the very beginning of opening up the gate, we knew this was a special place. The house was absolutely spotless, filled with everything we needed; cooking supplies, plenty of extra towels and blankets, and air conditioning!!! The backyard really made the house for us though. The outdoor shower was gorgeous and definitely came in handy after beach days. Privacy wasn’t really an issue for us but if you prefer a secluded space away from others, this might not be the house for you. The little house next to us was occupied for a few days, we never saw the other renters but we definitely heard some conversations which made us believe they could hear ours. The driveway situation was a little messy at times as well. If you’re the only one with a car on the lot, it shouldn’t be an issue but if other renters have a car, it could definitely be a pain to coordinate parking. Only small things that didn’t affect us in any way, but could be a nuisance to others. I thought the coconut grove house was in a decent central location, easily accessible, worth the pricing, and a great time overall. I would definitely come back again!

Cancelled after we dropped off our bags
We booked this property 5 months in advance near my daughters house to surprise her and got several confirmation trip details …. We checked in as instructed after flying to Hawaii, dropped our bags and went to my daughters house in Kailua and soon after got a notification that our reservation was cancelled and we must vacate the property! The communication was horrible and we had no where to stay. The first night we had to sleep on our daughters floor. So disappointed in this house owner! Do not book this property!!!

Better than a hotel room
The place was clean and had no issues with bugs, which was my main concern!Was better then 3 adults in one room. Website doesn't tell you there are 3 small houses on one lot, which was a little hard with parking.Hard to pull out with 6 cars in there.Needs some updating, couch and stools are VERY uncomfortable to sit on. Beds are very hard. Outlets in bedrooms are on the floor so you have to knee on the floor to dry your hair or use a straightener.When your cell phone is plugged in its not by you.The gate in the driveway is about to fall onto your car.The gate to walk into, you need to lift it up to open it. I sent pictures to the owner so hopefully he will fix the problems.He seemed very nice and may not know these things are like this.Again it was roomy and you were able to cook there. May try another house next time.

Centrally located
The property was extremely centrally located. The cleanliness was ok definitely an older home and the sofa was not the one pictured in the listing. Also in guest room large wooden prop camera that takes up a lot of space. Needs some updating but overall a really nice place for a couple of days.
