Relaxing getaway
The property was exactly what we were hoping for. It was very clean, comforable, and had all of the amenities we needed to cook some of our own meals. The view from the deck was incredible. The location provided easy access to a few of the Juan de Fuca trail heads, amazing food and some craft breweries. We had a rental car and everythig we wanted to explore was relatively close. Communication with Lane, the host, was always timely.

This condo was perfect for my two adult daughters and myself. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need. We loved the deck and amazing view of the bay. Our only complaint was that we didn't stay longer.

Beautiful refuge for nature adventures
The location is nestled between many beautiful beaches and hiking trails. The property is well appointed and very comfortable stay. We went in April which isn't quite in season yet so most restaurants were closed. Recommended picking up your groceries in towns both located 50km away prior to arriving. The general store has essentials but not items I would consider main meals. Loved location enough that I would consider moving across country to live here.

Beautiful, well appointed, and perfect getaway for the weekend. A lovely condo to relax in after a day’s hike, cozy up by the fire and do nothing but look out at the gorgeous water view.

Laundry and cooking
The place was nice, clean and convenient. There was no laundry facilities so if your staying here for a period of time make sure to pack extra clothes! All seafood cooking needs to be done on the deck outside so I bought a propane boiler and pot for crab to ensure we were able to enjoy some of the bounty we took the trip for. Parking can be a little challenging due to the other places being rented on either side and the rotation of guests but we managed. All in all the views are beautiful, the beds are nice to sleep on, the extra bathroom was handy and the atmosphere was great.

Hi Rick, thanks for leaving everything so tidy! hope you caught some fish and you certainly figured out how to keep the fish cooling outside, Thanks! Our typical guests stay for three days or so, so laundry isn't typically an issue, we actually had ordered a washer and dryer and finding lots of sand from the beach decided it wouldn't be a good idea, plus they space they provide for the units is small and would only do a very small load. If you decide to return next year give me an email and I will work out a better price if you going to stay for a while. Thanks again! Lane

Fantastic Stay
Spent a long weekend away with my husband and a couple of friends and it was just what we all needed. Beautiful views from the balcony and the floor to ceiling windows in the living area really open up the space. The entire place was spotless and the indoor fireplace was really the icing on the cake. A short drive to Botanical Beach and lots of great trails. Lane was very responsive to any and all questions, and provided all the information we needed. Would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a quiet weekend getaway.

Very nice place and beautiful view.
This was a great location. The property was very nice and well stocked. Didn't want for anything. Thank you! Just a note: this has nothing to do with the property but just understand that cell service is non-existent in Port Renfrew as of yet. They are supposed to be putting it in. Just isn't available yet.

Quiet get-away
We had a lovely few days in beautiful Port Refrew and this property was a great spot to see it all from. Close to amenities and outings like hiking and beach-combing. Beds were super comfortable and the unit was spotless. Hope to be back.

Perfect retreat to relax
We loved our stay here - it was the perfect fall weekend to cozy up with the fire, make great food, and relax. We explored the trails and beautiful beaches. The area feels very remote (no cell coverage) but still everything you need for a great relaxing weekend. We will definitely return!

Thanks Lane for providing such a great place to stay while visiting the Port Renfrew area. Carmanah beach house was perfect, wonderfully clean, very well equipped and you can’t beat that view! The Renfrew pub had great fish and chips. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wanted to visit Botanical Beach and Avatar Grove.

This was as advertised. The unit is spacious and bright and clean. The location is good. We were about a 30 min drive to go exploring some of the sights. If you're looking for a quiet area this is it. Recommend it and would stay here again.

Beautiful view across the bay
This property is part of a larger development of attached cottages and some properties are still under construction. Despite this, once you are inside, this townhome feels private and quiet. It overlooks the beautiful bay, and has a large deck with comfortable chairs and a barbecue. The cottage was spotless, fairly well equipped for cooking, and very comfortably furnished. Lane is a great host. He made contact by phone prior to arrival to ensure that we had all the information that we needed. Visitors who wish to do their own cooking should be aware that there is only one small grocery outlet which has all the basics but is very limited in terms of fresh food. There is access to great fresh seafood and fish near the dock, and Renfrew Pub offers excellent takeout as well as onsite eating. The surrounding area offers beautiful hikes and beaches. We had a lovely peaceful stay!

As beautiful as the pictures. Comfortable, clean, well equipped. It was wonderful to spend time on the deck -or inside- watching the mist roll in or a half dome of stars. And interesting places to go locally. If we could have, we would have stayed longer.

The property was everything and more. Comfortable, tastefully decorated, and with a lovely view of the marina. The full kitchen was well equipped and the host even provided coffee and tea. The location was also excellent within walking distance of a pub/restaurant and the best beach in Port Renfrew itself. A couple eagles spent time in the trees directly in front of the balcony. Both Botanical Beach and Avatar Grove were in close proximity. Lane responded quickly and thoroughly to any communication or enquiries. You won’t be disappointed!

Two couples getting away for weekend
Beautiful place with amazing views. Perfect for two couples getting away for the weekend. Both bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom, (one being a cheater suite), which is nice. Great location, nicely decorated, very clean!! The owners were very responsive to any questions. Would definitely book again!
