Très bien pour l'hôtel, horrible pour le service
L'hôtel est très bien, extrêmement confortable, avec des suites de plus de 50 m2 pour un prix très attractif....mais le service est calamiteux. Chambres non faites, demande de couvertures non honorées après plusieurs relances.

Bonjour, Nous avons séjourné une nuit au Protea By Marriott & sommes très très déçus. La propreté de la chambre laissait clairement à désirer & il n’y avait aucune bouteille d’eau à notre arrivée. La chambre était très très vétuste : canapé complètement affaissé & taché, la pomme de douche était remplie de calcaire & desservait que très peu d’eau (difficile pour se laver), les tables basses étaient sales, et aucune chaise ou table pour s’installer sur le balcon. La piscine n’était pas entretenue, donc verte ! Impossible de s’y baigner. Les ascenseurs ne fonctionnaient qu’une fois sur deux & les prestations n’étaient pas au rendez-vous. Je réserve TOUS mes voyages sur Hôtel.com & je n’ai jamais eu aucun problème de publicité mensongère ou autre. La je me suis clairement faite arnaquer, nous avons du partir & réserver une GUEST HOUSE plus loin. 164€ de perdu. Nous sommes très très mécontents de cette mauvaise aventure. Et ayant réservé pour mes prochains voyages à NYC & à Mexico, j’espère sincèrement ne pas avoir de mauvaise surprise. Merci pour votre retour.

Personnel accueillant et disponible, bon restaurant, chambre/appartement très spacieuse, rapport qualité/prix imbattable. Dommage que la cuisine soit réduite à sa simple expression d'un frigo et d'une bouilloire.... mais le personnel nous a fournis le nécessaire en vaisselle

If you need comfort zone, book ANEW Hotel
Our stay was great, staff were very friendly and of good assistance. Your parking area is too far from the rooms especially when it is loadshedding. The past 2 days of our stay the water in our room was cold and we reported that to the manager during checkout, she apologies and requested us to report any problems as soon as we encounter the problem.

I do recommend it!
Amazing stay. Nice staff, everything tidy, clean, organized. I forgot the safe open with all my dollar bills inside, and the cleaning lady took them to the manager who returned me all the money safely. I'm deeply grateful.

Best couple date
The stay in Anew hotel was amazing and great, we had a joyful, loving and extraordinary stay. The problem was the shower water it was not hot enough to have a warn bath besides that everything was wonderful and 👌. The hotel have an amazing attractive swimming pool 😍.

Dirty old hotel that is in a very unsafe area! It looks like an old student accommodation that was transformed into a hotel. The building is outdated, bathroom is dirty, found marks in the bath tub that resemble dried blood! No international sockets. The swimming pool isn’t safe as it is open to the general public, thus full of youngsters drinking and being loud all day & night! Would NOT RECOMMEND staying there

Choose this!!!
Amazing and super friendly staff. The lady in the front desk is so nice and also all the guys. They stored my luggage after checking out and were always smiling and kind. Also other staff was super nice and restaurant dinner was great and breakfest even better. One of my top hotel experiences. Rooms were also huge and felt like a big apartment. AC works perfect and fast wifi all over the hotel. Gym is also nice bonus but I wish they would buy more big weights for the muscular men. Neighbourhood is nice with many bars, clubs and friensly people.

I you must be honest, I can't be coming to your hotel and then I must also pay just for parking? Rather inform me that my booking also includes parking fee, that I will understand. So that in future I will plan for it. And the Noise on floor 24 on the 04/11/23 made my stay miserable, what is worse you book me on floor 23 without first explaining to me that I might experience noise due to what was taking place on floor 24, but i made me understand that sometimes ppl just enjoy undermining others. Next time one will think twice before booking with you. And as for those young kids who were all over the place wearing revealing clothing, I and my wife felt as if we were at a brothel of some sorts, plz try to maintain some level of class and decorum, your hotel must be a place of excellence not decayance.

I booked this hotel based off the great reviews. There were roaches in our room along with mold all over the tub and stains on the sheets. Definitely don't recommend.

I liked the balcony, I was able to get a wonderful view of the area at night. Although I did not make use of the gym, it looked like it was a great workout space. The entire upper floor was lovely!

We read a few reviews of this hotel before deciding to stay. The area it is in isn't entirely safe however that suited us as we were there for a few days, had a few excursions planned and it was at the end of our South African holiday and staying in to eat wasn't an issue. In fact the food and service at the hotel was first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast had a wonderful range of food and dinner was excellent . The service quality and price couldn't be faulted.

The hotel itself, staff and facilities are great but there is a general feeling of not being too safe outside of the hotel and walking in its environs. The security staff of the hotel are very helpful in advising people who choose to venture about on their own on measures of safety.

It was good. I love the place but they need to improve on time to clean the rooms. If rooms can be cleaned between 10-12noon it can be helpful. Beyond that it becomes inconvenient.
