Our home sleeps 8 guests. There are 3 bedrooms with King beds and 2 full bathrooms. The home comfortably sleeps 6 guests in 3 beds and 2 guests in a Queen-size sleeper sofa.
Open Floor plan features a modern Adirondack style that combines the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The elegant, fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, gas stove, utensils, glassware and dishware; the living area has comfortable furnishings around the floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace; and the dining area has trestle-style dining table.
One of the 3 bedrooms is located on the main floor, conveniently located for those who may have difficulty climbing stairs, and a great option for families traveling with elderly parents or anyone with limited mobility.
The Rec Room features a Foosball table, bar and stools for friends and family to gather and large Smart TV.
Down the hall, outside on the covered back patio, is a 5-person hot tub and Trex Adirondack chairs. Beyond the patio in the large yard is a firepit, more chairs and the bean bag toss game of Cornhole!

As you step into our home, you'll find hooks for your coats, a bench for taking off your shoes, and boot tray.
From the entryway, you will pass into the elegant living room, adorned with an impressive floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace with split log mantle, as well as tasteful glass pendant lighting and wagon wheel chandelier. A vaulted ceiling and large windows for viewing the natural beauty outside plus knotty pine shiplap-style walls provide a warm and inviting ambience to relax. Plenty of seating available for you and your guests. The cozy sofa is perfect for snuggling up in front of the fire, or relaxing after a day of adventure. A large trestle-style dining table is found off the kitchen. There is also seating for two at the counter.
The kitchen features a stainless refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave plus gas stove. The natural pine ceiling creates a warm and inviting atmosphere and white cabinetry with custom tile complements the modern farmhouse decor.
From the kitchen, off the hallway, is the first bedroom, full bathroom and sunroom. This main floor bedroom is conveniently located for those who may have difficulty climbing stairs, making it a great option for families traveling with elderly parents or anyone with limited mobility.
Our bedroom on the main level is a lovely retreat! As you step into the room, you'll find a King bed, a Smart TV, and ceiling fan. The comfortable King bed is adorned with a tasteful quilt and pillows for a restful night's sleep.
The modern main floor bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink with storage space, and hairdryer for your convenience. The window adds natural light and a touch of the outdoors. The pine ceiling, shiplap-style wood paneling, soft, stylish lighting and mirror give the room an elegant, warm and inviting feel.
At the end of the hall is the sunroom. Enjoy hanging out, eating a meal or having coffee while soaking in the view and surrounding nature.
Back in the living room, across from the entry, is a staircase leading to the second bedroom in the loft. This bedroom has a comfortable King bed with a beautiful quilt, pillows and ceiling fan. Night stands, valets and a wall mounted clothes rack provide convenient storage for your belongings. The room is open yet feels like a lovely private retreat.
The homeâs third bedroom, recreation room and laundry room are accessed via the stairs across from the kitchen. The third bedroom is lovely with knotty pine walls, a large window, comfortable King bed and ceiling fan. The side tables, can lights and lamps add to the room's overall ambiance.
The 2nd full bathroom on the lower level floor is designed with a modern Adirondack style and amenities. The pine shiplap paneling adds a warm and inviting touch to the space that features a 32x60â walk in shower plus a vanity with storage space and hair dryer.
The Rec room, is a fabulous gathering area for adults and kids! The room features a bar, stools, foosball table, Queen size sleeper sofa/sectional and large Smart TV, enabling you to stream your favorite programs. Just down the hall is the door to the outside back patio where the hot tub and firepit are located.
A pack n play is provided for your convenience and high chair is available upon request. All linens are included. Main floor and 2nd floor loft bedrooms and the living room have air conditioning units.
Wireless internet plus a land line for local phone calling (USA only) are conveniently provided. Long-distance calls are not included. You may use WIFI apps for long-distance or video calls.
For your comfort, from June 1st to September 15th, we are pleased to provide the main bedroom and the living room with air conditioning units
The following items are minimally supplied (enough to get you started): toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, and bath soap. Linens are provided, including bedsheets, quilts, pillows, washcloths, and bath towels, to use during your stay. We supply salt and pepper but do not supply other kitchen spices, condiments, hand towels, beach towels, shampoo, or charcoal.
The covered front porch is a beautiful outdoor area with Trex rocking chairs that offer guests the perfect space to relax and unwind amidst the tranquility of nature. Off the front porch, there is a Park BBQ grill and picnic table, providing the ideal spot for al fresco dining, drinks, or to sit and enjoy the surrounding woodland views.
Out back, luxuriate in the hot tub where you can unwind and soak sore muscles while immersed in the beauty of the surrounding woods.
The property also has a fire pit to enjoy roasting marshmallows or sharing stories under the stars. Kids and adults will enjoy the all-weather bean bag toss game of Cornhole.
With the home situated on a private two-acre property, guests can enjoy tranquility and scenic views, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Our home is ideally situated just 13 miles from Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, a half-hour drive from Lake Placid, steps from Lake Eaton, and 10 miles of hiking trails varying from relaxed beginner trails (including a trail that surrounds the lake) to harder climbs. Lake Eaton is within the Ausable Acres community and has boat access (kayaks and canoes) and fishing. Be sure to bring your gear for Pickle Ball, Bocce Ball, Tennis, Basketball, and Volleyball. The grounds have a pavilion with picnic tables and grills, a field, and a playground for kids. Trails can be used for hiking, mountain biking or cross-country skiing.
The home is close to Lake Everest in Wilmington, which has a beach for swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking, and in winter, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice skating. There is also a picnic area, pavilion, and playground! For easy scenic hikes in Wilmington, be sure to visit the beautiful Flume and Hardy Rd trails.
Whiteface Mountain has the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies and boasts over 283 acres of skiable terrain, 86 trails, and 11 lifts. It features diverse terrain for beginner skiers and snowboarders and expert glades and slides for the advanced!
Lake Placid is a charming, all-season resort town with a Main Street, unique shops, loads of restaurants, sporting and cultural events, a movie theatre, mini-golf, and a waterfront park with live music featured weekly during summer. The town also has supermarkets and other conveniences.

Select USA & Canadian holidays are subject to a 3 to 5-night minimum stay, otherwise there is a 2-night minimum stay. Pricing includes nightly rent, cleaning fee, Damage Protection Policy fee, and 5% Essex County bed tax. The Damage Protection fee covers accidental damage to furniture, appliances, electronic devices, windows, doors, up to $1,500.
