Enjoy all the Adirondacks have to offer!

Spacious Adirondack Chalet located on a one-acre wooded lot in The Woodlands, Jay. It is 2.6 miles off the Ironman Bike Course, 12 minutes to Whiteface Mountain, 20 minutes to Lake Placid & Lake Champlain and minutes to the Adk High Peaks. The Chalet has 4 Bedrooms, 2 full baths and sleeps 10 comfortably.

Chalet is pet friendly and is a 5-minute walk to miles of secluded hiking trails and Lake Eaton, a small pond for fishing, kayaking, canoeing & ice skating in the winter.

Great stay in the Adirondacks!
This property was perfect for us as we spent some time at Ausable Chasm and in Lake Placid. It is nestled between the 2 with about a 30 minute commute to either place. The outdoor deck and fire pit were great and the owner left plenty of wood for us to use. The place was clean upon arrival and had comfortable sleeping arrangements for 10. Definitely off the beaten path a little - a great Adirondack experience!

Long Weekend Getaway to the Adirondacks
We had a wonderful weekend getaway to this lovely property. The house was great and we were impressed with the attention to detail in the decor - so fitting for the area. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our grandsons loved playing outside in the spacious yard plus they had fun at the nearby conservation area. We would highly recommend this home and the area.

Warm up in front of the fire
We had a great stay at this property. We came to the mountains for 5 days to hike trails with our pups and we loved coming back and having a fire to warm up in front of. The cabin has everything you need to be comfortable and feel like you are at home.

Great cabin
We loved staying here. We come to the area every MLK weekend and this is a great cabin to stay at. It was perfect for our 2 families and we loved that we could bring our dog. It has everything we needed and was very clean and cozy.

Family vacation
We stayed here as a Christmas gift and traveled with grandparents, aunts, nieces and spouses. What a wonderful trip! Location was wonderful, we were able to go sightseeing and still have the “cabin in the woods feel” without being to far out. The decks, the dining room table were all used to an abundance for card games and chatting!

Christmas Magic
We loved our Christmas stay at Cathy Snow’s charming Adirondack chalet. Everything was so comforting and peaceful. Thank you for reminding me of my past Christmas with a stay in Ausable Acres. Great little get away

Fantastic Home Away
My husband and I spent several days in this home with our son and his 3 children ranging in age from 3 to 11 and two other grandsons ages 18 and 20. The accommodations provided by Cathy, our host, met all of our needs. The location allowed us to hike and raft through Ausable Chasm as well as Great Gorge Falls and motor boat on Lake Placid and visit Fort Ticonderoga. We would certainly recommend this property and come back ourselves.

Loved the property inside and out. The kitchen was well equipped for all your needs. Our fur child loved the big yard. Cathy was amazing in answering all of our questions and always responded quickly. Hope to come back and stay again on our next trip.
