«Bel Mare», qui signifie Belle Mer, est une maison exquise face Ă  l'ocïżœïżœan situĂ©e en plein cïżœïżœïżœïżœur de Surf City! Cette maison dïżœïżœcloisonnĂ©e offre un mobilier luxueux et moderne ainsi que de superbes vues sur plusieurs ponts en front de mer. Son emplacement est idïżœïżœal pour les familles qui aiment ĂȘtre Ă  distance de marche des magasins et des restaurants de la rĂ©gion!

Bel Mare propose 5 chambres et 4 salles de bains. La literie comprendra un roi, une reine, une double avec un lit gigogne double, 2 ensembles de lits superposés et un canapé-lit Queen Sleeper. Oreillers, tartinades et couvertures sont fournis. Les draps ne sont pas fournis, mais sont disponibles à la location.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bel Mare. We could never tire of the gorgeous views! We also loved the close proximity to everything. We highly recommend this home for your next stay. We didn’t want to leave!

Incredible Stay at Belmare

This property lived up to its listing. Everything worked as described and very clean property. We’ll set up to enjoy days on the beach then walking to local restaurants in the evening. Certainly worth booking for another beach vacation!

Lovely!

Property was mostly like the photos - missing the telescope though. We'll bring binoculars next time. The beds were a little lumpy and squeaky but overall a very nice property. Views were amazing! We will definitely will stay again!

Everything as advertised!

Great location, clean property, wonderful experience! My family has stayed in this house multiple times and we'll continue to do so as we can. The location is ideal - very close to shopping/dining, but just far away enough to not feel too busy/overcrowded. Loved staying here!

Disappointing ending

The beachfront location was great. Beds: The Master bedroom's bed was very, uncomfortable. 2 "divets" or sags on both sides. Very loud, rusty-sounding squeaking every time you moved. The "pullout sofa" was so uncomfortable that our friend just slept on it as a sofa. The back room (black) bed was super lumpy & squishy as well. The 4th bedroom, next to the Sofa Rm had the best bed. No lamps or tables. Overall, not the cleanest place we have ever rented. The shower floors were also noisy. We made do. It was at the beach after all! WEDNESDAY 9PM: Wednesday night before leaving Saturday, the washing machine stopped working. THURSDAY 9AM: We called Lewis Realty (LR) sent someone right over around 10:30/11:00am. It was determined we needed a new washing machine. Here is where it starts to get disappointing. I called at 4:02pm to get an update. Was told that they were waiting to hear from the owner. 4:08pm - LR called & said the owner is looking into getting a new washing machine. I advised that we have a 2-year-old with us and we need to get laundry done so we can pack to leave. FRIDAY 10:22am - Called LW for an update. Was told they are working on it. I repeated our concern about getting laundry done. It was our last day at the beach - and now we are in limbo! It didn't seem we were getting anywhere quickly, my husband & I drove to LR's office. Started with Pat. We asked for someone with more authority, Jordan came out. She seemed to try the hardest. Although there was never anything like, "Hey I'm so sorry this is happening. It must be awful for your vacation to end like this." It was only, "I'm waiting on the owner." No smile. No compassion. I asked for 15-minute updates - since hours had passed by and we never received a call initiated by LR. Was told they owner is getting one, waiting to find out when to be delivered that day. "Hopefully this afternoon." 2:34pm - Text we received from Jordan: "Unfortunately, the washer will not be delivered until tomorrow. The owner of Lewis Realty would like to give you $100 for the inconvenience and for your trip to the laundry mat if you choose. Please let me know if you have any questions, thank you." 3PM - Back to LR office (our last day at the beach.) Talked to C. Rackley on the phone. Lot's of back & forth - again, NEVER a "hey, this is just awful. we're so sorry." He asked the owner for compensation, owner declined. LR settled w/half day's rent. Never coming back here!

This is a nice house in the best location

This house was very nice. Had a large living room and beautiful view. Some small things to consider: One of the ocean-view bedrooms has a sleeper sofa only and the master has not the most comfortable mattress. It was so soft my feet were higher than my body. The management company was very helpful and responsive, but I wish more items were provided at check-in. Hand soap or toilet paper should be available. After a few hours of driving the last thing you wish is to end up using a bathroom where there is no paper to be found.

Great place for a Family vacation

The house was exactly what we needed for our big family trip to the beach, location was GREAT, can't get any closer to the beach, queen pull out couch is very very uncomfortable, will need an air mattress if going to use that as a bedroom, bunk room is located on the top floor with main living area so not ideal location to put kids to bed first and hang out

Nice house loved openness of kitchen to dining and tv area. Really has everything you need Could use some updated kitchen ware Pots/pans spatulas and maybe a little more silverware. We really couldn’t figure out how to use the telescope but it was a conversation piece lol. Another chair or two on upper back deck might be nice. But overall we were very happy and had a good stay. (Oh, I tightened a few of the dining room table chair legs. They made need some attention soon. )

Spacious house with great location!

The house was the perfect size for our party of seven. The location is within walking distance to shopping and dining, and has the most amazing beach views. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy cooking/eating at the house. We were not able to use the trundle bed, as there was not enough room to pull it out. The pullout sofa sleeper was not comfortable enough to sleep on. There was a great variety of board games to play! Overall it was a very enjoyable stay!

great property with a lot of potential for improvements

The home has an amazing living room with stunning views, the location is perfect for access to the beach, and if you like a more unassuming quiet town. Decent restaurants in the area with lots of options. There are some downsides, however -- the room has 2 master suites both with gorgeous ocean view, however, one of the master suites is used as an entertainment room (with a pull out couch) instead of a bedroom. That means if you are staying here with friends/family, only one of you will with the ocean view room. The A/C was also broken for the first 2 nights of our stay...and to make matters worse, there are no screens on any of the windows or sliding doors so we could not leave the windows open. The last 2 nights of our stay, the alarm system woke us up in the middle of the night with low battery alarms. There was no way to disable them. The management company was not able to help disable it before our stay was over.

Great week at the beach!

This property is amazing! Beautiful views! Beach isn't "private" due to public access sites near the house but you are far enough away that there are only a few people within you. Food on the island is good, we did go off the island a few times for dinner as it was a little less expensive and not so repetitious.

Best family vacation!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family! We had 7 adults and 2 children and we could not have been happier with the accommodations. The views and stunning sunrises and sunsets were priceless. Will definitely be returning to this beautiful home!

Fantastic Fall Beach Trip

We had a lovely time at Bel Mare in Surf City- highly recommend going in the fall as the weather was perfect. The house is very nice and well appointed. Loved sitting on the deck in the evenings! I really appreciated there being a baby gate for the top floor for my little one. Absolutely loved being ocean front- that was the best part! We had a wonderful stay!

Topsail is a Great Alternative to OBX

Topsail and Surf City were a nice new area to visit. Would like to come back after Coronavirus to check out the restaurants and so forth. But it is easy to get in and out and that's beats Rt 12 north into Duck by a landslide.
