  • Conversion de grange magnifiquement rénovée. Spacieux, aéré mais confortable. Endroit idéal pour se retrouver entre amis ou en famille. À cinq minutes en voiture de Blackwaterfoot, où vous trouverez des magasins, un parcours de golf, un centre équestre, une piscine et une plage de sable fin.
    Mill Barn est essentiel pour voyager n’importe où sur l’île. Le port de ferry principal à Brodick est à moins de 20 minutes en voiture.
    Si vous apportez des vélos, il y a un hangar fermant à clé dans le jardin pour le stockage.

    Cette conversion de grange a le salon en haut donnant sur la cuisine. Toutes les autres chambres sont au rez-de-chaussée. Il a une salle humide avec WC et lavabo et une salle de douche avec WC et lavabo. Quatre chambres et un bureau / bureau où vous pouvez vous asseoir et travailler sur votre ordinateur portable en vous connectant au wi fi. Il y a des étagères avec divers livres, jeux et DVD pour les jours humides. Il y a une machine à laver et un sèche-linge, vous n’avez donc pas besoin de rentrer chez vous pour faire la lessive. Il y a un grand jardin à l'avant et sur le côté qui est sûr pour les enfants. Dans le jardin, il y a un banc de pique-nique pour votre usage. Dans le hangar sont des chaises de jardin. Il y a de la place dans le hangar pour ranger les vélos.

We had a great time at the barn conversation! The front patio area was lovely to sit in after a day of exploring and the accommodations were comfortable and clean. Ruth was very responsive and the washer and dryer were very much appreciated! Thanks for a great stay!

Attended the Island to attend a music festival. Had previously been let down with other reservation as it had been sold prior to event. The owners of this property couldn’t have been more professional throughout. Spacious clean and well appointed dwelling. Central location and on a bus route.We all really enjoyed our trouble free stay. Were comfortable and totally relaxed and would highly recommend.

Another great stay at Mill Barn. This was our fourth time staying here and still loved it as much as the first. Great location, very clean, credit to the host Ruth.

Fab time in Arran

Great base to discover Arran from. Had everything we needed in the cottage, well stocked kitchen, washing machine for washing all those swimming costumes etc. well worth a stay 😁

This cottage is well equipped, everything you would need to cook for a family. The second shower room is very small but both showers were great.

Family Holiday

Lovely property. Very suitable for a family holiday. Everything you need is there and a lot of little extras which just make it perfect. Would not hesitate to recommend it. Ruth was a lovely host and even left a welcome gift of cheese and oatcakes which was very thoughtful.

Had an amazing time on Arran, The Mill Barn was a perfect location to explore all around the island with everywhere within east driving distance. The bus from the Mill Barn to Blackwaterfoot was less than 5 min away ideal for going to The Kinloch Hotel for a drink or food.Mill Barn was spacious and everything catered for.Ruth was always in touch and was happy to accommodate check in and check out times which was really helpful. Would definitely venture back to Arran in the future.

Lovely family home

Had a lovely few days at Millbarn, Our host Ruth was so helpful and the thoughtful little extras she left for us were so kind. Dogs and 11 month old loved it, very safe with stair gate upstairs and enclosed garden. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property to families!

Very comfortable & well equipped accommodation

A good location for exploring the west of Arran. The property actually seemed more spacious than in the photos. Comfortable beds & 2 good showers. The kitchen is well equipped, should you wish to prepare & cook your own meals. Local buses pass the door which we used. Also very good riding stables 5 minutes away.

Fantastic property !!

This property was just what we needed for our week away. Beds were made up ready for us, With blankets on just in case. As well as hot water bottles. Plenty of space to store our clothes plus chairs to sit on. Towels for all of us. There was tonnes of space for everyone to have time out in the evenings. Plus dvds, books, games for all. The kitchen was well equipped had everything we needed in there. Including the bits that we may have forgotten. (Tea, coffee, sugar and tea. Hand wash, and fairy liquid, kitchen roll, toilet roll).. A washer machine which is needed for an under 3 year old.!!. The garden was great for the dogs to relax in, plus seating with cushions which were ideal with the great weather we had. The house was in an ideal position for us to travel around. Ruth left us a little treat. Which was lovely to find. Great communication with Ruth throughout the whole visit. It has been fantastic and we will be back again 😁

Another excellent stay!

This is our second time staying at Mill barn and it won't be the last. Ruth is an excellent host and the property was spotless. Its got a lot of charm and character to it and is in a great location short drive from the beach at blackwaterfoot, a visit to King's caves or bellvue farm. Another excellent holiday with the kids. Can't recommend this place enough!

Fab new year stay

Very easy to find and great communication from Ruth before we went meant I felt really well prepared for my trip. The barn is very spacious and well resourced along with being comfortable and lovely for a cosy winter stay - we did lots of cooking and board games and it was perfect. Big thanks to Ruth for providing all the necessary equipment for taking our baby too it was great. We had some lovely walks and runs on Arran and Blackwaterfoot the local town/village has good shops including the bakery! Probably the only downside is that walking from the front door involves quite a bit of walking on road before reaching a path but with a car the options were great!

Fantastic, spacious property in central location

We had a fantastic time staying at this property for a week. It's well located in Shiskine - a great location to access most of the island (assuming you have a car). Very close to Blackwaterfoot which has a few local amenities as well as a lovely beach for walking our dog. The kitchen is very well-equipped for cooking from scratch, which we did most nights. The property is extremely roomy - the photos really don't do justice to how spacious the property actually is! Everything you need is provided, washing machine, towels, etc. Ruth was just fantastic as a host, totally the right level of communication. I would highly recommend a stay here and will certainly be back for our next visit to Arran as a group!

Fantastic Holiday Home. Highly recommended.

After many many years of staying in holiday homes this is definitely one of our best experiences. Mill barn is fantastic. Top quality fixtures snd fittings, spotlessly clean, everything one could imagine in the kitchen and more. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. With ten year old twins and a six year old we made great use of the study for crafts etc. The upstairs lounge was lovely and relaxing. Thank you so much Ruth for sharing your lovely home.

Mill Barn Cottage
