Pas un vrai hotel
Si vous cherchez la quiétude d un hôtel, passez votre chemin. C est une auberge de jeunesse avec des soirées tous les soirs! La chambres individuelles, c est à dire, les plus chères, sont au premier rang pour vivre la fête. Impossible de dormir avant 1h du matin. Je pense que le fait Qu il y ait la musique tous Les soirs devrait être notifié. Les fêtes (cool au demeurant) finissent à 23h pile mais les clients restent bien plus longtemps. La chambre était propre. Style industriel ce qui donne cette impression de pas fini. La salle de bain fait vraiment cheap : le coin douche fait camping. Point positif, l’extérieur est sympa et fait voyager par sa déco. C est vraiment très jolie. Cela manque de nettoyage par contre. Les sunbed sentent mauvais et la Piscine est trouble et sale. C est vraiment dommage car ça pourrait être canon. En gros, hostel très cool quand vous avez 18/25ans et que vous êtes avec vos potes. Pour les couples en quête de zénitude, à fuir. Personnel pas très sympa au fait.

We didn’t have maid service everyday and our shower was not great. The shower head was horrible. The beach bar was a ton of fun, and the staff was friendly.

In general is a great place, I liked the design, the beach, unforunately it was raining and very cloudy both days. I"ll come back for sure but have a private room. There was some annoying ladies this morning in the room. Cursing and waking up everyone.

Be prepared for music to be pumping loudly until 1 am half the nights of the week. The rooms are extremely industrial and not very comfortable. The beds were hard… that being said you get what you pay for it’s more of a hostile experience… saw some people doing coke right in the open and then hugging staff like they knew them. It wasn’t awful, but we won’t stay here again, it’s quite far off the scene as well.

Would not stay here
Nomads isla while clean- I would not recommend a stay here. #1 : location. The hotel is so far from town, you have to rent a golf cart to get anywhere ($80USD per day) you are seriously limited for restaurant choices as you are so far away from anything. 2: the beach is minimal and partly unkept. Did not enjoy that at all. 3: the private rooms are on the beach front side of the hotel, which is overlooking the bar area. The music is so loud you can forget about any sleep at all. I had to leave the hotel at 1am and go for a walk bc the music was so loud it was like being in the middle of a rave.

We really liked the beach club atmosphere, although the beach was kind of messy. We had several issues with our toilet, not flushing, and had to pour water into it to get it to flush.

Los cuartos son muy obscuros y tienen muy mala iluminación. No pudimos dormir por el ruido, tienen la música muy fuerte hasta muy tarde. Si lo que buscas es una vacación a gusto en la playa, no es una buena opción.

There is a massive construction site next to the hotel which nobody said before! The generators run 24/7 to power the light at site and during the day they use heavy machines which are super loud! This HAS to be communicated before the arrival!?

We extremely LOVED our experience at our honeymoon vacation. The uniqueness and eco green vibes is what makes the difference. The beach club pool area was breathtaking! Definitely coming back and highly recommend it!

La gente del front desk no es resolutiva, en vez de transmitir tranquilidad transmite dudas. El lugar esta lindo, el bar y la comida que ofrecen esta acorde. La gente con quien compartí eran muy buenos y amables. La habitación que rente tenía muy poca luz, pegada a un resto que ponía la música muy alta hasta muy tarde, no se podía descansar bien. No tenian para ofrecer un minibar I algo para mantener el agua al menos , fría en la habitación. Estuve sin agua caliente las 2 primeras noches hasta q luego de 3 reclamos me lo solucionaron.

Lamentamos que tu estadía no haya sido de lo mejor, usualmente no se tiene ningún detalle con el personal en la recepción pues se ofrece toda la información que el huésped requiere, estamos seguros de que se debe tratar de un mal entendido, de cualquier forma, en el hotel trabajamos duro para mejorar el servicio dia con dia.

Es un bello lugar , pero al llegar nos dijeron que el hotel es para jóvenes y por lo visto extranjeros, iba con mi familia , reserve , confirme , via hotels.com y llame , ademas viajamos desde la cuidad de México para llegar y vaya sorpresa en la recepción no nos dieron la habitación por q no es un hotel familiar , es de fiesta y reventon , DISCRIMINADOS

Hotel or hostel? Not sure! Nice looking place on the "beach", but apart from that, we were not impressed. The "beach" is not really a beach and the water is not very clear and there are a lot of seaweed at the bottom. Only two of the sunbeds are for free, otherwise there's a minimum spend - even if you're a guest at the hotel. The service at the restaurant/beach club was terrible, we had to wait for 30 minutes just to get asked what we wanted to order, and then 40 minutes for the food to arrive. Another 30 minutes to get the bill. The food was okay. The location is outside the city centre, but that was not a big deal for us. Taxi to the centre is quite cheap. The worst part about this place was the loud music on the beach club almost all day and night. We stayed during the weekend and even though we read it woul be loud, we were not prepared HOW loud. We were also unlucky and got a room right infront of the club. If you like to party and stay up late, this is the place for you, but if you're looking for a more quiet and relaxing place, this is not it. The music got louder and louder from noon and out, and even though the party at the club ended around 1-2 pm, some guests decided to turn up the music in their room at 5am (not the hostel's fault, but the hostel attracts party people).

Beware! This property is for young adults only looking for a place to shower and sleep. There are no nearby shops or restaurants to walk to but you can rent a golf cart for $50/day to get around the island. We only received 1 bath towel each (no washcloth or hand towel) and on day 2 we were down to 1 towel because house keeping only replaced 1, and by day 3 I hadn't thought to look and got out of the shower to no towel! We had 1 tiny bar of soap to share between shower and sink, a coffee maker but never any coffee pods, and 1 glass bottle filled with water from unknown location which was never refilled or replaced. The pool was a tiny above ground pool that was "freshwater" but was so murky you couldn't see the bottom. The Expedia site says breakfast is included in the rate, but it is not. When I asked about this, they said the statement on the sites was "a suggestion" whatever that means. Staff was very unhelpful overall. I would not recommend this place unless you are an actual nomad or wanting actual beach campgrounds.

It's important to note that this is a hostel, so even while paying hotel prices for a private room you are staying in a hostel. The private room was very simple but comfortable with a nice view, but the environment was nonstop beach party. While the music stopped at 10:30 pm the noise did not.

Our group of six absolutely loved Nomads! The hostel itself is beautiful, the drinks are delicious and we really appreciated the thoughtful design of the two private rooms we had booked. Mauricio and the staff at the Nomads food market were especially amazing - they went above and beyond and stayed open late to make us tacos the first night we got in...which made our stay especially memorable. The DJ music Saturday/Sunday night was also fire, and was greatly appreciated, especially during COVID as many bars and restaurants close early on the island. I would definitely recommend Nomads - it's the perfect place to stay on Isla Mujeres!

Overall a cool experience
Stayed in a private room with private bathroom. Outdoor amenities are great - beach club and an amazing huge dog that goes out onto the water which was the highlight for me. Rooms are nicely sized with a good balcony and sturdy hammock. Nice decor in the room, very cool / minimalistic meets mid century modern. Downsides are no TVs in rooms and no fridge... staff made a fuss about not being allowed to bring alcohol onto the property too, not even for drinking in your own private room, which seems pretty unreasonable. Breakfast served out on the beach was basic but adequate.

Great hostel right on the beach
I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a really good value for the location right on the beach, and the free breakfast that was actually pretty good. Front desk was very helpful, and yoga with Lorenza out on dock was a great way to start the day!
