« We were looking for bases to explore the various areas of Ireland and chose this one for the Limerick portion of our trip. It's in a lovely rural location and, unlike many Irish dwellings, is very energy efficient and comfortable. Just a great place to stay if you want a quiet place surrounded by lovely countryside. One caveat: If you're from out of the country and have spotty cell service, make sure you save your Google map trips so you can find this place in the dark! We both lost service at...

« Michael was really nice and discreet, attentive to our well-being. We had a warm welcome and a delicious lemon cake ! Thank you so much ! The tent is very large as well as the beds which are very comfortable. There is a "real" bathroom, the shower is top. We didn't get tired of the view from the tent which is wonderful at sunrise ! The Wonderful Connemara's landscapes are not far, like Galway which is only 32 kms. We also could fish, just a 10 minutes walk from the tent... Our children loved...

« The lodge we got was good (clean and comfortable bedding), but unfortunately not perfect for a familly (the "corridor" bathroom was not practical, with the shower between the door and the toilet). It was OK for 2 nights like us, but not really for a longer stay. Also the equipement for cooking was not adapted for a familly (size and numbers of pots and pans) »
