« We had a beautiful little getaway with the kids and mom. We lost her husband recently but he always took us on weekend getaway’s and mom wanted to continue the tradition. Our usual spot was sold and we have now found a new one. »

« Property as described, probably even better. Melissa, who manages the farm gave a tour of all the animals and Q & A. Super quick response from the owners regarding all questions. Beautiful grounds. Very quite and secluded. Absolutely LOVED the house! »

« The house was absolutely beautiful. Very well maintained and stocked with about everything you would need. Too hot to enjoy outside but the fire pit and deck would be perfect for fall weather. Will return when coming back to visit Family. »

« Donkey Trot is beautiful and peaceful. The grounds are beautiful and meticulous and the home is immaculate and welcoming. Jane and Steve are almost as gracious as the donkeys and goat :). Just kidding, pretty sure the donkeys get their demeanor from Jane and Steve! Close to athletic center made this the perfect spot to unwind after a day of basketball and prepare for the next. The space is perfect for a family or a team stay. Would come back just for the relaxation! »

« My family (me, two daughters, son-in-law, two grandchildren) visited my sisters (in Bremen, thirteen minutes) for the long holiday weekend. We found the Farmhouse to be beautiful and were very happy with it. It was plenty big enough for all of us and very comfortable. « Came here for Spring break with our 2 boys (7, 9). Property is unbelievably beautiful and the house was very cozy and had everything we needed. We spent time exploring the property and walking down to the beach. Too cold to swim, but skipped rocks and searched for fossils. Hot tub was wonderful on chilly evenings and the stars were out of this world.Things we did:Marengo cave was 10 minutes from the house - we did both cave tours (on separate days) and boys did all the fun extra activities...

« We were visiting Greencastle for a family wedding, and this adorable house was perfect for our family of 4 (high school daughter & college age son). We actually wish we had been able to spend more time at the house…it was cozy, quiet and very relaxing. We did get to enjoy the fire pit one evening and coffee on the front porch one morning…the birds, cows & deer kept us company. The kitchen seemed well equipped but we did not do any cooking during our quick visit. I inquired about an ironing board...
