The property was amazing beautiful views, the hosts Ian & Robert were super friendly and great to have a chat with, they made sure that their guests had everything they needed. We had a wonderful break, two nights was not enough, Ian and Rob, were great hosts, breakfast was delicious and filling great way to start the day, furnishings and decor were very tasteful, A very relaxing place to stay with all the facilities you could ever want. Star haven was wonderful! From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble, our hosts Rob and Ian were extremely accommodating. As we were going to a function I had enquired about early check in, and they messaged us at two to say our room was ready! Breakfast was delicious, and the property was simply beautiful in a fantastic area with beautiful views over the bay. In all, a perfect mini break... can’t wait ‘ til we go again

Romantic Destination, worth a detour.
True to the photos, it's an amazing property. The hosts are professional, but friendly, and serve a very nice breakfast. There's a number of extra special amenities, and we chose to watch Bohemian Rhapsody in their theater with freshly served popcorn and ice cream.

Discovering the Bellarine
We knew nothing about the Bellarine Peninsula before staying here. After three days we know much more. Rob and Ian have a great network to help you line up your stay. For example we rented e-bikes for a day loop tour. The breakfasts can only be described as elaborate. A gigantic library of movies organized by decade.

Everything that you could possibly want at a BnB. We needed 2 extra nights to do everything at the house, let alone the fab food and wine in the rest of the peninsula! Definitely be back.

Third stay here, and will be back for more. Cannot fault this place. Rob and Ian are the most welcoming hosts who make you feel completely at home. Staying here is like being at a home away from home, cozy, relaxing and inviting.

Stunning accommodation and wonderful Hosts
Starhaven Retreat is a first class accommodation experience. With beautifully appointed rooms, wonderful Hosts and even a Star Class private cinema, you cannot help but relax and enjoy yourself. The property has stunning bay views and Ian and Rob even cook guests a home cooked breakfast each morning. There is a dinner package option available too. Highly recommended.

Favorite in 5 weeks of travel
This place could not have been more amazing. The service was unlike any we’ve ever had before. Fantastic breakfast. Our hosts were so amazingly helpful and guided us with a great nap. They were there at every turn but also gave us our space. The place was spotless and the view was spectacular. It was right across from the ocean so we could walk a long way either way and have beautiful scenery. We would highly recommend this to anyone and it is certainly our favorite place in all of Australia to stay. The bedding and furnishings were all high quality and pristine.We hope to be back

Gorgeous Modern Stay
Rob and Ian welcomed us immediately on arrival. They provided lots of information about the area and regarding local restaurants. Their patio faces the water, and they served us drinks there. Amenities include 2 hot pools, a cinema room as well as in room movies, and multiple patios to relax on. Our room, like the rest of the space, was impeccably decorated in contemporary style. Toiletries were high end, as well as the linens. The breakfast was gourmet with unlimited offerings. Their hospitality made us feel as if we were saying goodbye to old friends! Highly recommended.

All the facilities we could have wanted and more in a great location near the beach. Robert and Ian were the perfect hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. Didn't manage to make use of all the facilities, but we had the relaxing stay that we had hoped for.

Stay was very relaxing. The place looks amazing with great facilities for enjoyment and relaxation. Pool, sauna, sky deck, cinema. The hosts are very pleasant, friendly and easy to talk to. They make you feel very comfortable in their home. We took the dinner deal. The dinner and conversation with the hosts were very enjoyable. Food was very good accompanied with good wine. we wanted a weekend getaway to relax at a slow and quiet pace. We recommend starhaven very highly

Perfect luxury retreat
The best way to describe the weekend at Starhaven retreat was infallible. The hosts were an absolute delight to stay with, and their home is truly 5 stars, the interior design is gorgeous and everything is of the highest quality, but also extremely comfortable! The breakfast is special!! We will be booking again to go back at the soonest opportunity.

Pampering in a palace
It was an amazing weekend. Ian & Rob were fantastic hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond and made our time that much more enjoyable. I booked Starhaven retreat for my husband's birthday and it was the nicest experience ever. The hosts were the most welcoming people, the house incredible! You can stay here for a week and you wouldn't be bored of it. Its got everything to cater for your pleasure; cinema, indoor AND outdoor spa, sauna, billiards table, bar, rooftop terrace with barbecue facilities all this over looking the stunning beach. It was so lovely. Delicious breakfast served in the morning. It was just like staying with your favorite relatives. 10/10

An experience to be had!
Shared a lovely couple of days with my sister at this coastal house. Facilities amazing with private lounges for relaxing, amazing views, a swim spa to soak away and best of all incredible hosts. They made our few days a luxury with their pampering and attention to detail...nothing spared. We so enjoyed the leisurely breakfast and their company. Nothing was too much trouble with a cold,winter night warmed with toast and tea when we didn't feel like going out. Just what we wanted.

Luxurious bed and breakfast opposite the beach.
The Starhaven hosts are an affable duo who quickly and warmly welcome you into their world - a tastefully designed and furbished establishment catering for all seasons. There is plenty to keep one entertained with amenities which include an indoor heated pool/spa, a cinema and bar, a billiards room and an outdoor spa. This is a first class environment in which to escape and unwind.

B&B with a difference
Firstly, We wish to comment on the hosts Rob and Ian. They were exceptionally welcoming and provided outstanding service. The large house (on 3 levels) has great sea views and living spaces. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The most surprising element was the theatre/cinema - a better experience than the most luxurious commercial cinema. Our group of 4 was delighted to be able to watch the Australian Open Tennis Women's Final in comfort. Thanks for a great experience!

Unfortunately we cannot verify this review as we have had no guest under this name stay at Starhaven Retreat and Wotif have not been able to provide any proof of stay. We have been quite surprised by this review as it is unlike any other guest experience.
