Amazing stay
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Gemini House was the perfect place to stay: the hosts are so welcoming and make you feel at home the minute you arrive. It is safe, clean and comfortable. The breakfast which you can eat outside looking at the garden and sea, is delicious. I also loved the location: 2 minutes away from a beautiful and quiet beach, and a short ride by bus to Oistins. The bus stop is 2 minutes walk from Gemini House. The airport is also quite close. I loved that the area felt local and was not crowded with tourists. Finally, the other guests were very friendly.

Parfait pour une escale
Nous avons séjourné à Gemini lors d'une escale en avion. Super accueil. Nous avons été manger du poisson sur la plage dans un village voisin ( dépaysement garanti!) La nuit fut bonne et le petit déjeuner était excellent. Très bien et relaxant!

The toilet was broken and could not flush. The sink was dirty and clogged. The shower knob was broken. We could not differentiate between cold and warm water. The shower was clogged as well. Water accumulated while showering. A complete repair of the plumbing needs to be done.

Your review was full of falsehoods. First,YOU broke the toilet handle. That's why it did not work and you never told me you broke it. I only found out after you left. Secondly, since there are only two shower knobs; one is cold and one is hot. No brain surgeon required. The shower worked perfectly for our other guests with no problems. Sorry for your confusion.

Not sure why this was posted since no details are given. Anyone who reads our reviews will see this is an unusual one. Geri got up at 3 AM to make this person breakfast and make sure she got to the airport on time for a 5 AM flight. Some people are just hard to please.

I was welcomed with open arms almost felt like I was visiting extended family. The area is safe and walkable down to the beach. The beach is more for surfers but it has its areas where you can get enjoy it. I was able to walk to the neighborhood store to pick up some snacks, drink etc. The room was clean with air conditioning. I got a good nights rest. Breakfast was very good specially after a run that I had taken around the neighborhood. It’s close to the airport and they helped with my transportation to the airport. I would stay here again and the hospitality was excellent.

Quick layover on way to Bequia
I was flying from London to Bequia but my transatlantic flight to Barbados was re scheduled meaning I would miss my connection. I had to stay the night in Barbados and needed just a room for 1 near the airport. Found Gemini B&B for a reasonable rate and booked for 1 night. Was welcomed on arrival by Geri after have received excellent instructions regarding getting a taxi from the airport. I was shown to the room which had a big firm bed, tv, ceiling fan and air conditioning. The bathroom and toilet was next door which I had sole use of. Geri booked me a cab for the morning back to the airport and made me breakfast of an omelette, toast, juice, fruit and coffee. The room provided me with everything that I needed at a very reasonable price. My only suggestion would be to de-scale or replace the shower head as it was a bit clogged up. Overall, an excellent stay and recommended. Many thanks to Geri and Steve.

Fantastic quiet and safe location for overnight stay between flights. Great to be able to have a walk along the beach and coast before breakfast. Easy taxi ride from airport and hosts sent good instructions. Great home cooked breakfast on patio with sound of the ocean. Enjoyed chatting with Geri. Bed comfortable and room had both air conditioning and overhead fan. Bathroom had what was needed, a little worn but not a problem. As a solo female Traveller felt very safe and nice to be staying somewhere away from the tourist resorts. Perfect for what I wanted.

Good value and location
We enjoyed our one night stay at Gemini House. The room was comfortable with AC and ensuite bathroom. View of the ocean. A wonderful breakfast and the highlight was meeting our hosts. Very much enjoyed talking with them. Would stay again.

Gertie and her husband were very helpful and was willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable. Excellent stay and a good breakfast each day. I had to extend my stay a couple days and they were very accommodating.

The property was close to the airport and the functions I needed to attend. It was in a safe area and the hosts were warm and inviting. They made sure we were well looked after and were always courteous. We had a good breakfast too.We will stay there again at anytime.

The couple running this guest house were delightful - friendly, helpful and kind. They also put us up again at very short notice when our departure flight was cancelled and we were otherwise without accommodation. It's a great spot. Highly recommended.

This well kept property is in an ideal location near the beach and the airport, in a quiet neighborhood with a local spot for food close by. The property is charming and the proprietor Gerri was the soothing balm needed after days of travel. She is a warm, welcoming host and talented cook. You feel you are home and valued. Cold water is in the fridge, there is plenty of storage space, the space is comfortable and super quiet! She also kept a friendly, caring eye out for us as we had to be up for an early morning flight and insisted we still get breakfast despite it being pitch black out still. Wish the stay could have been longer in this comfortable spot with a host who goes above and beyond.

We loved the location being within walking distance of the beach. Also walked to a convenience store and felt perfectly safe in the neighborhood. The hosts were the best part very friendly and stood up for us after a taxi driver tried to overcharge us on a ride to the cruise port. At the time of our stay in Jan 2023 the price was $35USD and while $10 doesn't make or break a person we greatly appreciated our hosts and how they treat their guests. Breakfast was delicious and we had no complaints whatsoever. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The house and property are beautiful. It was a delight to spend time in the yard watching the sunset, and walking to the beach, and connecting with the host & other guests. Geri was wonderful! She made me breakfast in the morning and helped arranged transportation. I hope to go back next time I am in Barbados.

Don't pass this up!
Hands down the best experience of my month in Barbados. Geri and Steve are amazing people who went way above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at home. The breakfast was incredible. including home made breads, chutney's, spreads, omelettes, fish cakes and on and on. I extended my stay by 4 days. Thanks so much for everything Steve and Geri!
