Amazing country get away.
Spent the weekend here with friends for my birthday. Really lovely place, large and spacious...looks better than it did in the pictures. We loved the large kitchen and conservatory. It had all the amenities one would need. The property managers were very responsive via email and text. Our only let down was that the hot tub had broken down.

Ideal English country home away from home
The Dairy House met and far exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, far away from the maddening crowds, yet just a 5 min drive, or 20 walk into the village of Illminster. What a delightful path! The beautiful countryside surrounding us on all sides was wonderful to wake up to each morning with not a soul in sight, except for the peaceful sheep grazing the in fields. The house itself could not have been laid out in a more perfect plan. At one time there were 8 of us, yet it did not feel crowded with plenty of room for all of us to enjoy each other’s company, or to find a quiet space for a moment alone. We found ourselves lacking nothing…. there were plenty of bathrooms, a well-appointed kitchen, wonderful laundry room, garden area complete with a grill for outdoor cooking, and our favorite space, the conservatory where we had coffee each morning. I highly recommend this property for an ideal English country holiday.

Beautiful house, beautiful setting, couldn’t have been more perfect!
We feel so lucky to have found this place to stay in while down one Somerset. The house has everything that you need from a Nespresso machine to dressing gowns in the bedroom and amazing wood to burn and keep you warm. Not to mention the secret garden! Wendy and Ewen were both exceptionally helpful before, during and after our visit. We will hopefully be back!

Perfect venue for a family get-together
We stayed at the Dairy House for a long weekend to celebrate a special birthday. The house is lovely and suited us really well. Plenty of scope for walks in the surrounding parkland and also further afield. The accommodation is very comfortable and well maintained. Plenty of well seasoned logs for the wood burning stove which made us feel very cosy on cold February days. What a wonderful place this would be in the Summer, we may very well return!
