« The bedroom was very nice and spacious, welcoming tea/coffee and bottled water in our bedroom. The morning cooked breakfast was excellent and filling, also plenty of choice alternative breakfast ie kippers etc »

« Location was beautiful with views over Pendle Hill. Room was very well appointed and spotlessly clean with a beautiful bathroom. It was situated adjacent to the pub a 15 second walk away. Staff friendly, courteous and helpful. Would stay again when next in the area. »

« Excellent stay. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived till we left. A very pet friendly hotel, the staff went out of their way to please the dogs as much as us. Food was excellent we loved the breakfast. Ample parking in the public car park. We would recommend and hopefully we will return. »

« First stay here for a party in Brighouse. Superb welcome from staff on arrival and shown to our room. Accommodation is across the road from the pub and events so nice and quiet and a great space at the front of the building for a evening drink. Very interesting range of ales and other drinks in the pub and an excellent breakfast. « Stayed with friends for 1 night in a room with double sofa bed and separate double bedroom. We couldn’t fault the room or service at all. Staff were friendly and efficient and we felt really welcome. Dinner and breakfast were cooked perfectly and delicious. The setting is beautiful. Lots of opportunity for walks on the site or perfectly located to drive out and visit Yorkshire’s beautiful scenery. The leisure families were great too. Quiet, clean and relaxing. We will definitely return »

« Always a great stay because of the staff including Julie, Lawrence, Sean (the Boss man) and Liam (I hope I got the names right). But rooms are a little dusty and my mugs were both stained and needed replacing. Team makes this a place to come back to again and again. »

« My single room was compact but clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were the most friendly I’ve ever encountered, nothing was too much bother. The hotel was full of character, a pleasure just to sit and have a beer. Location at the top of the hill was a perfect starting point to explore the village. Definitely recommend staying here. »

« This is simple b and b accommodation but importantly it’s comfortable clean with good in room facilities and welcoming helpful staff. Value for money is tremendous and the pub restaurant is much the same. Great stopover on the way back to Scotland. Will be staying again! »
