« Everything was great! Except for the no-see-ems that came out in the evenings. Those bitting little bugs are awful! Bring bug spray or buy some at one of the local shops. The people were friendly. « The property was a studio style space tucked away in an area close to the lighthouse beach end of the island. I enjoyed the space and especially having a bike. For the first few days I smelled an unpleasant water smell coming from the bathroom but the more I used the kitchen sink it seemed to dissipate. « I wanted to get as close as I could to Bowman’s Beach and Blind Pass to go shell collecting. For the price this was a gem. I was able to do my daily walks at 5am collecting shells and be back for breakfast/brunch with my husband. Couldn’t walk on the beach to Blind Pass, have to walk on bike trail. « Property was very clean. Great location close to Captiva and Sanibel. Bathroom was nice and clean. Only complaints: 1. Beach Parking Pass is ONLY for use on the property’s beach access. I wish this was more clearly stated on the room literature as we found this out the hard way! $150 parking ticket! 2. The bed is awful. Not very comfortable at all. That’s about it. « This place was just renovated so everything was new and pristine. While it’s not directly on the beach it’s a short walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearly across the street. We brought our bikes and adventured around the island. Saw lots of shells and dolphins. Thank you. »

« It was typical Florida HOT! Location and Cottage was GREAT. I do have one suggestion for you. I am 6'2" 280 and the shower in #2 Sandpiper was small. If you expand the shower to fit the walk-in area it would work out a lot better. I enjoyed the cottage and area a lot. The other people that stayed in the others at the same time were also a pleasure to have around as well. Get to know you neighbors. « The property is well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking even a blender. The traffic starts early so a bit noisy since our bedroom windows were near the street. The pool is a very nice size. An easy bike ride to the beach at the end of Donax. »

« Enjoyed watching several species of birds and an Iguana on the screened in porch. It’s a two mile drive to J. N. Ding Darling Wildlife Reserve entrance, and about .25 mile to the beach parking lot. Nice quiet beach. »

« We just returned from SanIbel and thought the condo was above our expectations. Per the description the pool is just a few steps and the walk to the beach was short and easy. We loved the decor and cleanliness of the unit. Beautiful, well appointed kitchen, lovely new bath and beach towels, and everything spotless. »
