« We had an amazing family vacation staying at the Sunset Bay Lodge. The beach and dock area was a highlight for our group. « Rented this trailer for a girls weekend. Very clean and budget friendly. It's on the quieter side of the island, which was great for us. The beach is across the street. I must have missed that in the description, but it was a great quiet beach and not a problem once we checked in. »

« Private beach was excellent. We had such a good time playing in the water. Housing was comfortable. Kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with what we needed. Problem was finding the place. The address cannot be seen from the road because covered in vegetation. Also the communication with owner and with Vrbo was frustrating and for the most part nonexistent. We had such a great time that the problems now seem insignificant. »

We went over to the town park several times and enjoyed the fire pit (calling to check the local fire safety status was new to me but understandable, especially given the amount of wildfires in MN/Canada).It is definitely quieter on the north side of the island which was just right for us. « Everything was great. Check-in was smooth with Larry giving us an overview of how everything works. Kitchen was was well appointed (bring your own spices)Knives could use some sharpening.
