« Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. « Staff not very friendly (both on check in and check out). It seemed as if they would like to be anywhere except where they were then and there and they did not seem keen to help with anything. The walls are very thin and people speaking in the corridor sound like they are in your room. You can also hear everything outside. Did not have a good night's sleep and would not book to stay here again. »

« The staff were very polite nd friendly. The room was very spacious with a large comfortable bed. There was a kettle with loads of tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied. There was a shower in the bathroom . With very large towels which smelled lovely . Lots of shampoo, shower gel snd body lotion supplied. I will definitely be going back »
