Good afternoon guests and friends. Thanks for the review. From the time this Guadeloupe guy and his female friend entered Winchelsea Guest house, I could see the unfriendliness in them but I ignored it and figured they were tired. Furthermore to that, he is unable to speak English well and his friend does not know any English at all. I was very friendly and I explained everything to them as I went to France 5 times (so I know a little French) . Eventually even the other guests noticed the unfriendliness as well but I made the excuse that they were French. The world today is not that safe ( though no incidents happened at the house to suggest this) but it is vital to have your front gate locked so as to protect all of your guests. I give all guests a front gate key to enter the premises. Why would the French man want another key to enter the premises. They are also given a front door key and their room key. The rain was falling a lot in Barbados at that time and I would think it was appropriate to take off your flip flops (as he called them meaning shoes) off. I want to say all guests should see the house as theirs and keep it clean. I usually have kids (babies) staying at my place and I usually tell the parents the floor is clean so your babies can play and creep on the floor etc. My lights were on all night so I asked all the guests ( and not only the Frenchman) about turning off the lights when everyone has gone to bed. I think it is appropriate and mannerly to tell him that other guests will be in the house as they are only 4 bedrooms. Does he expect to be in the 4 bedroom house alone and have all the amenities in his room? Everyone has his own toilet and bath tv Wifi etc This guy and his friend got everything they asked for including a/c, wifi, tv and toilet and bath. I changed the linen and cleaned and mopped the room.

This guest wanted to reach the airoport at 7 00 am in the early morning. It takes like 23 to 25 mins to reach the airport at that time as there is no hardly any cars on the road as I told her I was going to leave at 6.15 am. i have taken many many guests since 2007 to the airport so I am well aware of the time to get there. She insisted I leave before 5.30 which I thought was too early and she kept on messaging me and waking me up in the middle of the night causing me not to get some sleep. Eventually she got another cab. Thanks for staying here..

This lady is telling a lot of lies based on what she is saying. The bed sheets that she was lying on were new ones never used by any guests. Guests that came to my place over the last 11 years were very satisfied with the coloured towels, sheets etc. Even the authorities who examined were satisfied. The room is green and every thing in the room matches even the rugs/carpet. I have travelled and stayed in many guests houses in Europe, London, Trinidad and even St Lucia where this lady is from and very few had white towels. People like colour in their rooms. This lady is a student nurse at a hospital..She is used to dealing with sick/ill people so she is accustommed to having whites. She need to travel some more and stop criticizing every thing. My guests prefer coloured items and I am here to please them. These people are able bodied and healthy and not sick people in a hospital where she works.Every thing in the room was clean and well washed so I don't know why all of these lies were being told. I had other guests and no one complained

This lady came before 5 am in the morning in the morning on a Jet Blue flight. There was no where opened to get anything to eat and she was hungry. I took her to a closed restaurant that opened at 7:30 am and I stayed with her until that time as it was kind of quiet and lonely and not safe in that area that early in the morning. It was not safe to leave here there by herself. Most taximen would have dropped her off to fend for herself and come back and pick her up at 8am. If they had to wait they would have charge her extra waiting money. I did nothing of that sort but I sat and waited with her until she got something to eat. I respect woman so I would not have done anything like that. Now my check in time at my accommodation is 12 noon and my place was filled up the day before and they had gone so I had to ask my worker to come in early to prepare a room for this lady and all the other rooms. I had to pay him extra. Two new soaps were placed in here room, two clean towels, new sheets, pillows cases, the floor was swept and mopped, the toilet and shower were cleaned etc etc. I found it very strange that I had guests that came in after her and no one I REPEAT no one complained of the frivolous complaints she had made. Like I said check in time was 12 noon and she checked in 8 am, 4 HOURS before check in time. I did not keep her waiting. I had other guests who used my rented car where ever they wanted to go. This lady actually called other taxis with my rented car parked outside and the other guests were actually surprised at that behavior. So when the other guests left I sent back my rented car as I saw she had no intention of using it. I was paying 75 us a day for it. So does that not made sense to send it back? All my tv’s work even the one in her room.
