Good area
Clean and functional. Not fancy by any means but served our needs perfectly. Place to shower and unwind in the evening. Cook a meal or two...mainly breakfast before a big day. Super easy drive to pretty much anywhere you plan to go. We stayed 7 day. Would do it again. We left full sized cooler, fishing poles and boogie board in garage/laundry area for future guests.

safety
Everything was fine except outside looks abandoned the grass. One of the bath was dirty, floor wasn't swipe but other than that fine. The glass front door doesn't close is broke and you don't feel safe.

Hi Kendra I was surprised that you left me this Negative review especially since you didn't follow my check out instructions by sending me a check out text or disposal of garbage after I sent you a check out text. I even had to call you to find out if you finally checked out 7 hours later. Not to mention how you stated you didn't feel safe when the house has iron bars all around the house. As per the grass growing around the house, yes you are correct. Very little grass around the house but mine you, for the price of my rental, I do say in my ad that the house is Not a 5 Star Hotel. My price is the best in the neighborhood and it's constantly being rented and it's PR and the grass grows very fast. People read my previous reviews of happy Guests for the price and let my guest Kendra rent a 5 Star Hotel next time.

Beach house
This is a great beach house it's not a fancy resort it is a family residence literally 500 yards from Verde Mar Beach Every morning Id sit on the front porch and watch the sun rise the views are amazing mountains of El Yunque on one side and the Verdy Mar Beach on the other Morning walks to Punta Santiago pier and back seem to be the norm for retirees The house is about 1 hour from San Juan and 30 min to the Cebia Ferry to Culabra and Viequez amazing location!! We have stayed at other places on the island but this location is awesome The beds and couches are maybe Walmart but compared to the location and surrounding areas you make due we were there for the island not for the accomodations The house was tile throughout making it easy to keep clean 3 bedroom house 3 bathroom enough for a family to stay Air conditioning was for Living room kitchen and hall and master bedroom the portable fans and ceiling fans made it comfortable throughout Plenty of storage clothes washer worked laundry lines on back porch nice and close to the laundry room Property has a typical decorated cage around the building so once you park your car in the garage you can lock yourself in a secure environment but that implies that it's not safe and that's not true "It is a safe family neighborhood" All and all this is a great property a great family economy stay if you want the resort feel you should go to a resort this is a family lives here property!

Well it said that it have three bathrooms but I only saw two bathrooms. So don’t know why it charges for three bathrooms is only two bathrooms. Besides that everything else was good.

Happily family fun in Punta Santiago
The property was clean. The area was good. I did not like the tree futons in the living room. They were old and very uncomfortable to sleep on. It's a nice property it just needs a little bit of tlc, they need to fixes the front door is like a accident waiting to happen.

Hi Axel thank you for your nice review. Regarding the futons, you rented from me with only a group of 3 and there were 4 beds available for your group. No adults should have been sleeping on the futons because they are only meant for children to sleep on for larger groups than the 3 you reported. I thank you for taking good care of my house

Good place to stay
Property was overall good to stay at, easy to access and property manager was always available to contact. Only concern was the front sliding door, there was no warning that it was lose and my 4 year old son tried to open it to get into the house and it almost fell on him. I avoided the door and used the side door through the garage to access house. Other than that, house was good.

Great location
The property was great. The house was clean and check in very easy. The location was beautiful in a peaceful beach town, but the description of the beach was not made clear. Yes we were across the street from the beach, but the water looks dirty due to way too much algea and seaweed which makes it not suitable for swimming. The home was comfortable though and had many accommodations.

Nice get away
The house was clean and functional! We liked the location in the residential neighborhood and beach being right across the street! Convenient for the things we wanted to do in puerto rico! There was roaches, we sprayed everyday but they were everywhere! The beds were comfortable but the couches were not! It was nice to sit out on the balcony in the mornings and evenings, and the host was great and stayed in communication!

Nice place for the price
Good location in a nice neighborhood with plenty of space. Several local dining and tavern options. The ocean is just a few minute walk away. The neighbors can be very inviting. There is a slight insect issue but as Ricardo mentions if your looking for 5 star accommodations this one is probably not for you. Only drawback I can think of is we could not find a blender for our Pina Coladas.

The Perfect Place
This was our 2nd stay at this property. WE rebooked immediately after our 1st stay, this place is that special. We were here in April for my birthday. We were back this time for my wife Karen's birthday. She wanted a birthday to be able to eat outside, this was the place. The property is truly beautiful. It is well appointed, immaculately maintained, and very comfortable and secure. The home is directly across Hwy 3 from Punta Santiago beach, a quick walk. The home is in a nice little neighborhood. There is nothing about the listing that is embellished. It is a beautiful place. Ricardo is the perfect host. He is always available and responds very quickly to any questions. We have thoroughly enjoyed our interactions with him during both stays. He is warm, personable, and has a great sense of humor. We will be back again (fingers crossed).

Had a wonderful time. Close to a bunch of places to eat not to far from Luquillo kiosks and a multitude of beaches. Perfect place to unplug, there is no wifi.

5 day stay
house was OK. Cleanliness was an issue. Lots of dust on fridge, knickknacks, shelves. Biggest problem I had was cockroaches in kitchen area. Both live and dead. I informed the owner and he stated sometimes guest bring them in. He had roach spray under the sink he said I could use. Nothing he could do during my stay, but he said he would bomb the house after I left. I am just glad my wife was not with me during the stay because she would have insisted on finding another place to stay. I informed VRBO and there was nothing they could do except ask the owner to refund my trip which he did not do.

As I informed Lawrence, I exterminate the house after each rental. I had to bomb the house after he left but the exterminator only found 3 dead roaches afterwards. This guest tried to get all his money back after a 5 day stay. I refused because if he was that unhappy, he should of checked out the same day he saw a roach. Yes people bring them in at times. But, this guest knew what he was doing. He was nothing but a con artist. Did he really think I would fall for his scam that after a 5 day stay he would demand for an entire refund? How about the electricity and water he used during his stay. Not to mention, he got the reservation on a $50 per day discount. I am always Aware of Con Artist even if it means that I will receive a negative review afterwards. They'll nick and pick to see if they can get anything for Free.

Great location
Thus was a great place to stay. The beach is literally right across the street. Only about 5 minutes north of Humacao. There are places to get some local cuisine right outside the housing development in Punta Santiago. Not far from El Yunque or Old San Juan. Over all great stay.

Amazing House, Great Location
First, rarely does a place completely meet up to the listing, however this one exceeds it. You can stay in a luxurious Spanish-styled house, across the street from an amazing stretch of beach. The entire house is impeccable. Ricardo has made the check-in process incredibly simple. The house is tastefully decorated, air-conditioned and had a fully equipped kitchen. You can walk across the street to said stretch of beach and your can go 3 km south and go to Albertson's or Walmart... There are an amazing area of places to eat from stands to food trucks to restaurants. The seafood is amazingly. Ricardo is a consummate host, he is there whenever you need him. The washer is plus. A/C and ceiling fans throughout keep place cool. You'll love sitting out front listening to the Coqui. We went for my birthday and I had the very best time ever. We will be back. Thank you Ricardo!

Beautiful home
The house is beautiful most know don’t turn the ac in the bedroom into everyone shower it will turn your hot water heater off bud after knowing this we had hot water. The only thing is I believe the house need a bed upgrade and the futons in the living room shouldn’t be a bed for kids bud the owner also was very nice and answered right away when I call him for anything.Thank you for sharing your home with my family

Good place near beach
Generally positive experience. The owner is very responsive to messages. The house is very spacious, with everything you need (cookware, towels, bedding, washing machine, etc). There were some issues like lights flickering and water heater breaking down, and the owner said he would take care of it after our stay. As far as things to do in the area there's the beach (just a short walk), Humacao Nature Preserve, El Malecon de Naguabo, local restaurants as well as fast foods, supermarket, Walmart and other shops. A little further out is the pterocarpus forest as well, which was a surprising treat of a location to explore. Overall the property was a great value, with close proximity to both the beach and other fun activities. Definitely recommend.

Hi Matt. Thanks for the review. But, as per the water heater breaking down on the check out day, it was only the breaker to the water heater shutting down. Once the breaker was turned back on, the water heater was back to normal.

Spring break vaca with two kids
Property was a little hard to find with using GPS, as we were just getting familiar with change of kilometers compared to miles. Property is very spacious. Back room with two twin bed was very hot even with using the fan. Not having Wifi was a little tough with the kids but we made through our evening/bedtime routines. Kitchen was stocked with all the basics which was great. Bath rooms had plenty of towels and toilet paper. Beach was truly within walking distance, and the local bar down a couple blocks had famous food!

La urbanizacion es bien tranquila y la playa esta al frente. tiene buen esdtacionamiento y la casa es bien fresca de dia como de noche. Todo queda cerca para salir a comprar cualquier cosa.

Very clean and accessible to the beach
Very clean and comfortable to fit 8 people with everything you need from the kitchen to the bathrooms. Be ware of the cold water showers. Other than that it was all good.

Hi Marizela. We reviewed the tankless water heater and discover that the breaker switch was off and that's why you had no hot water.

Beautiful home!
It was such a beautiful home and literally had a beach across the street. Close to stores, gas stations and post office. And the host had great communication! Will def recommend this place to friends :)

Great Puerto Rican beach experience
The property is nice and spacious home in great sub division across the street from the state park and miles of quiet beach front I have 4 boys 19,14,4,2 perfect acomidations for a beach house tile floors throughout so beach sand could easily be cleaned up they made friends with neighbors washing machine quit working I offered to help fix but Richard said he would purchase a new one to make it easier on us and he did great 1 day delivery and we were back in business what a great host I hope to get back soon If you're looking for resort this is not it this is a home living here will give you the full Puerto Rico experience Access to every thing we toured the whole island and adjacent islands from this central home Thanks Richard and Cuz for a great experience!!!

Great Stay
We were a big group: 4 adults, 3 teenagers and a 2 year old. This house was perfect for us. It is large, clean, and in a pretty quiet area. And a bargin, where else can you get housing for this many people at such a great price? Host was very communicative. We will be staying here again in the future.

Good location/ house needs improvements
The house is located right next to the Punta Santiago beach but the beach is not accessible and it's not recommended for swimming. This beach has been abandoned since hurricane Maria. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and its perimeter is very secured as shown on the pictures. You can fit 2 cars inside the garage. The kitchen is fully equipped. The owner has been informed of some major issues with the electrical part of the house. The mattresses are not comfortable. A/C units work good. Ricardo was very responsibe to my messages and helpful.

With all due respect to my guest. I was at my home in October 2018 and walked across the street to the beach at El Balnario of Humacao and even went in the ocean. At no time did I see any signs that the beach was not safe for swimming nor was it abandoned since Hurricane Maria. The First Lady of Puerto Rico would be insulted by my guest' s comments especially since they dedicated time and money to restore this beach after Hurricane Maria. My guest doesn't know the damage to the area I do. One thing you will find is that this beach is secluded in it's natural habitat and when you do go, you will have the beach all to yourself. By no means it is abandoned. Therefore, I resent the untrue comments made by my guest regarding the beach across the street from my Beachhouse.
