Great stay, a last minute decision for a night in Hull. We had our own room with en-suite & we couldn’t fault it. Full use of kitchen on 2nd floor if needed. Staff couldn’t be nicer. Very convenient multi story car park opposite (cost us £9.50 to park overnight). Would definitely go back again 👍

Excellent location with good price. Host was very accommodating and the multi-storey carpark opposite was a benefit. I will be using here again.

Fleas or something that bites!!!!!!!
Sadly I had a terrible stay at this backpackers. Booked 2 nts, only stayed 1 nt, felt I was being attacked on bottom bunk bed, moved to upper bed near window, not as bad, felt something in hair and bitten!!!! Alarm bells were ringing, when I arrived and the gentleman went to make up my bunk and took the dog up too!!!! would not recommend. Stayed in Lincoln 1 nt £80, had to be done.

Wow! As owner of this little backpackers business, I can only apologise Lorna. In over 5 years since opening, we have never received such a review. I do wish you'd brought issues to the duty manager rather than quietly disappearing. And Lincoln's 50 miles away, perhaps you'd booked a little far away for your needs?I can assure you no dog ever enters the public bedrooms, nor prone to carrying biting insects either. I take it you're not a dog fan....

Just what was required ...
After my travel plans were disrupted due to train strikes, the venue was perfect for my needs ... A straightforward room, somewhere to rest my head for the night and the venue delivered.

Hello Rosie. We don't really understand your query here. You booked and paid for just 2 persons, but three of you stayed. The room takes three, though people normally pay to stay for three if this is the case. We trust the thirteen pounds per person we received you found to be good value...

Great in the context of a hostel.
Keeping in mind this is a hostel and the price paid it was a worthwhile stay. The location is great, being in the city centre. This also means close to the bars so can be noisy, but earplugs are on offer if you want them. My room was next to the kitchen but I wasn't disturbed as it wasn't busy. There are plenty of memos around reminding guests to be respectful and tidy. The shower was like an old council swimming pool, great for not wasting water, not so great to wash your hair. The owner was really friendly and welcoming and I felt safe there (I had my own room not a dorm). The room and bedding were clean, the bed comfy enough for me to sleep well.

Good value, and good central location
Valie for money, no frills. But clean, and relatively comfy. Good Central location. Great host, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Definitely recommend for the frugal traveller.

Oh dear Connor, I feel we must exercise our right to reply. Your partner expected the Hilton, you booked with us here at Trinity Backpackers. You didn't stay, she instead got her night at the Hilton. We even refunded half your payment, even though it was quite clearly your mistake as you agreed. We offer clean, budget accommodation in the middle of Old Town Hull to people of all ages of an independent persuasion. That isn't was Ms Connor needs in life. I wish you a good life, but do try to be more honest.

Very friendly welcome on arrival and ended up having room to myself. Bed was comfy and I slept really well. Kitchen facilities excellent. All happy :)
