Yorkshire week-end
Séjour de 4 nuitées en centre ville à proximité de chez nos amis. Nous avons trouvé un hôtel correct, vieillissant... Quelques éclairages hors service. Une seule prise de courant éloignée du lit, nous avons demandé une rallonge qu'on devait nous amener... Nous l'attendons encore ! Petit déjeuner non inclus et plutôt cher, par contre, bouilloire et 2 dosettes de Nescafé et 2 de thé à disposition par jour. Pour les serviettes, uniquement un "drap de bain" par personne. Nous aurions voulu qu'on nous les change au bout de 2 jours, les avions mises dans la baignoire. On les a retrouvées au même endroit et toujours aussi humides le soir !!! Il faut les mettre dans le lavabo... Pour ce qui est de la situation, l'hôtel est quasiment en centre ville (5 min à pied de la gare et d'un grand centre commercial.) Niveau sonore, que d'ambulances et autres véhicules sirènes hurlantes ! Nous étions en bout de coursive au 1ier étage, donc peu de passage. Par contre, quand quelqu'un rejoint sa chambre, ça s'entend ! Le lit était confortable et la literie très correcte. Nous recommandons pour un séjour de découverte ou déplacement professionnel. Nous y retournerons au besoin.

La chambre n'était pas à 100% propre, le sol de la salle de bain était sale. Le personnel en revanche est très accueillant et le petit déjeuner est également très bien.

When I checked in they failed to notify me That the boiler for the property was not working meaning their was no hot water, I only found out the next morning when I went to use the shower meaning I had to have a cold shower. When I mentioned this to the reception staff he said no one had hot water and they were awaiting a Gas delivery for the boiler. The beds are very uncomfortable and you can feel the springs in the mattress

bed had springs coming through,asked for duvet to pad it out was told from member of staff there was no spare duvets,he did try bless him,never slept a wink was full so no moving rooms,shutters on windows looked more like a prison camp,never to return,staff were nice and its not thier fault.

Hi there my stay was good my room was at the side of the main road but the noise wasn't too bad.Room was good for if you on a budget.Staff very pleasant and helpful Be good when restuarant up and running.

The property was very clean and quiet considering its location The only things i can probably complain about is the bed was past its best , you could feel the springs . We did mention the bed at checkout and was told they are waiting for head office to get new beds. And the coffee sachets although they were complimentary they were disgusting

Booked a room, asked for a room by car park to avoid the most main road the other side. New manager apparently messed it up and i was put in a twreible room right next to the road. Never slept with the noise. What made it worse i slot in a bed of springs with a cloth over them... not a mattress. Pointless contacting the hotel with requests now, mine was there over a month and i stayed there 2 weeks before so knew it was in the doary. Extremely dissappointed

The hotel lobby had a very off putting smell and the beds was terrible. Service was average at the best. The heaters also dont work

To be honest it wasnt the Ritz but it was good value for money, you get what you pay for. I have paid more at other hotels and got less. The only down size was the bed moving when you move or turn over but hey we managed to get some sleep, also as a restaurant to have a better food menu would have been nice. The room was clean with clean fresh bedding. With a tv and tea making facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly and at hand to help where ever needed. Spent time with the staff in the bar/restaurant and having a laugh. Will definitely visit again. Thank you to Campanile staff

The general overall impression was of the hotel needing a bit of a renovation. However our room was comfortable and clean and we had no complaints
