Historic 3 bed, 2bath Bungalow Minutes from IAH with Backyard Putting Green!

Located just north of Houston and minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport, this well-appointed three-bedroom is a quaint, small-town oasis surrounded by big-city amenities. Built in 1908 and lovingly updated, Boomtown Bungalow is nestled on Main Street in the heart of Old Humble, a pioneering early 1900s Texas oil boomtown. Take a break in the backyard and enjoy our newly installed putting green!

Aside from the comforts of this charming historic home, enjoy restaurants, bars, spas, golf courses, parks, and more--all within walking distance!

The private driveway will accommodate 3 vehicles with additional free street parking directly in front of the home.

The home has a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, towels, and WiFi internet.
Have lunch in the back yard under the Huge Texas Pecan and Pine trees or sit on the porch and enjoy the old Town surroundings.

Green Oaks Tavern is just a short walk away and has live music almost every night!

Cute and comfortable

Cute and fun. Walkable distance from so much in downtown Humble. Rooms are roomy and kitchen is stocked with dishes and cook wear. Beds are comfy. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms.It feels like a home.We stayed hear for my daughter to come into town for her boyfriend's prom.

First Time Using VRBO

The house was in the perfect area, so much to do for children. 2 parks within walking dustance, a roller skating rink around the corner and a trampoline park within minutes. The best part if the stay was the small bakery just up the street where you could get can getfresh breads and amazing coffee daily.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Very clean, plenty of room. Great location. The owners were super easy going and alway able to reach with questions. Highly recommend. If we arw ever in the area again we will definitely be back.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed this house on our business trip! It is comfortable and really close to almost everything. We were just 3 minutes from our job site and every other store we needed to go was just a few minutes down. Great house very clean comfortable will definitely recommend!

LOOKS BIGGER IN PERSON THAN PICTURES/ NICE LAYOUT/ GREAT COLOR SCHEME

Everything about the house was perfect. I booked a day before the rental date, and even on short notice the host responded reasonably quick . House was clean. Beds are VERY COMFORTABLE, they are memory foam. Bathrooms clean. Cool lighted mirror in one of them. Wi-Fi great. Also there were some snacks which was convenient. And the putting green was great it had 2 clubs and plenty golf balls. GREAT CHOICE FOR ANYONE 10/10 RECOMMEND

The house was very comfortable and felt just like being at home. We will 100% stay here anytime we travel this way in future. The owner was extremely quick & easy to communicate with as well as overly accommodating with some special request for check in/out request that we had.

Quick trip

The house was ok for what we wanted. The back yard needs mowed/raked. Cigarette butts left in ashtray outside and in front porch vase. Trash was left in trash can from previous renters? The king size bed was very comfortable (nectar mattress) but no curling fan in that room. The queen bed sinks towards middle. The 2 twin beds may be more suited for children and the room did not have a plug in for a fan. The window blinds are cute but let too much light in. Needs curtains or something beside paper blinds. Back yard lights are in a timer no way to turn them off. If you want a place to sleep and don’t mind noise and light from busy street this is your place. Very affordable but probably will not rent here again.
