« I spend an entire week at the Foshan Crowne Plaza Hotel. My average rating is very good. Everything is clean, comfortable. The food quality is a major advantage here from the restaurants (japanese one is so nice) and the breakfast or diner buffet. Their is a perfect ratio between chinese, japanese and european choices. We had some fun also with Christmas events (decoration, music, concert at the bar ...) and the welcoming lady dressed as Santa Mother at the buffet !! so cute. The hotel...

« Good deal for the price paid. 10mins walk from Zumiao station whereby all the mall are around that area. Directly opposite Sofitel. Nothing around the hotel but a good 10mins walk bring you to all that you need. Linked train to Guangzhou, about 30mins. Compared to the other 4 star hotel - Sofitel and crown plaze, Golden city definitely stand up for 1/3 of the price. Gotta try the 顺德双皮奶 12rmb, really good. The Claypot rice 15rmb along the way to zumiao station from hotel is good too.. »

« i use this hotel , over a period of many years. Location to central area good, for food , metro & tourism. Bed mattress & pillows have been updated, in my room 1#01. Laundry facilites have been removed , in last 3~4 wks & update is unknown, atm. Even though property interior feels “dated”, staff are friendly enough. Mandarin & Cantonese is used. English = unknown. I would use this hotel again , in future. »

« The room lacked many features such as minibar, safebox etc. There aren't any bars or pubs that I could find in the area, the the hotel doesn't have a bar either. So there is nowhere to grab an after-work beer. There were a few clubs and KTV Places, but they are the kind with Zuo Tai's and Chu Tai's which makes those places not suitable for married men. Compared to price, the hotel was decent anyway. »

« I really don't like to comment and leave a bad review. I booked this hotel through hotels.com, it was advertised as a 3.5 stars hotel, after checking in (staff at the hotel don't understand a work of English expect one guy who we find latter on) we went to our room, it was a smoking room ( you can smoke in hotel everywhere :( »
