« Great location for hunting. Close to Custer and day trips to Keystone and Hill City. Located in a quiet country neighborhood. The cabin itself was very clean and everything was in working order and up to date. Can see wildlife while sitting on the deck. Thumbs up! »

« All I can do is share my experience, and it was a terrible one. During my stay, the host damaged my parked vehicle. On the first night, he backed his truck into my car and damaged my bumper. He acknowledged this. He then asked me not to involve the police because he said he did not have insurance and asked if we could handle it privately, which I agreed to. He insisted he did body work and offered to repair my vehicle himself in his home garage, which I declined. He then offered me a free stay,...

« We felt we were being watched the entire time. We were awoken around midnight to children banging on the adjoining door and wall. We could here crying and a child crying and stating "We are locked in this room and cant get out" As soon as i turned the light on in our room it went absolutely silent. We packed our bags early the next morning and left. I definitely do not recommend. »

« I didn’t like the one way unpaved road to the property . The house was spacious and spotless. Big enough for two families. »

« The Pinewoods Cabin was everything we wanted and more. Not only was it cozy and immaculate, the location and view were unbelievable! It is at least a 15 minute drive on dirt roads ( well maintained) but the destination is worth it. The kitchen is very well equipped and they even left complimentary coffee pods and snacks on the counter- very thoughtful! If I could give this house 10 stars I would. We would definitely recommend this house and will rent from Candace again »
