« We felt we were being watched the entire time. We were awoken around midnight to children banging on the adjoining door and wall. We could here crying and a child crying and stating "We are locked in this room and cant get out" As soon as i turned the light on in our room it went absolutely silent. We packed our bags early the next morning and left. I definitely do not recommend. »

« Location, Location, Location! This is close to all the sights that we wanted to visit! Home was clean and we found it as described in the listing. Couple things to note: navigating the stairs from the upstairs bedroom at night can be tricky. There’s a nightlight, and a handrail but the last few steps do not have a handrails. Upstairs bedroom has a skylight with no shade, so don’t plan on sleeping in too late! Beds were comfortable, towels were not too absorbent. We had 6 adults and an infant and...

« The washing machine never worked with only 2 towels for bathroom in downstairs with 2 bedrooms so we could not wash for a week stay Called multiple times no one came also we were flying so we went conservative on clothes because we could wash but that did not workIt was in a wonderful location and loved the house »

« The location was great for a short walk into town and to a hiking trail. The house was large and had plenty of space and rooms to choose from for our party of 6. It was clean and comfortable, and was easy to communicate with host. It was the best spot for our family to stay during a mini family reunion and graduation weekend. »

« Very close to Mt. Rushmore. Host went out of their way to find us a great view of the 4th of July fireworks over Mt. Rushmore. Very much appreciated! Accommodations were clean. Excellent, including kitchen, washer/dryer and a special touch with smores items for the fire pit. Hot tub was also a very nice amenity. Location was beautiful. We saw wildlife such as deer and wild turkeys. Highly recommended! »

« We are six older "girls" who stayed for a week. Adam, the host, answered any questions and concerns promptly prior to our arrival and during our stay. The house is very conveniently located in the middle of Custer and next door to a wonderful pie and ice cream restaurant. »
