Stone Cottage Creekside avec jacuzzi - nouvellement disponible



Récemment construit en pierre de poteau et de poutre et de cèdre Shake Cottage situé sur les rives de Spring Creek, un grand ruisseau de montagne. Le chalet peut accueillir 2 personnes dans une grande chambre en mezzanine avec un lit king-size et 2 dans un futon double en bas. Idéal pour un couple ou des parents avec de jeunes enfants. Le chalet étant totalement ouvert, il n'y a pas d'intimité pour 2 couples. Il dispose d'une cuisine complète équipée de tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Il y a un bel espace de vie ouvert. Dehors, il y a un jacuzzi pour 4 personnes sur le pont avec vue sur le ruisseau. Le pont s'enroule autour du chalet et offre une vue imprenable sur le ruisseau accompagné du bruit de l'eau tumultueuse. Plage de sable pour la baignade et la pêche dans le ruisseau à truites approvisionné. 5 minutes à pied du centre-ville et du sentier des Appalaches. Tous les draps fournis. Wifi

Perfect for my work/ play visit

This was a combo work/ play visit for me--3 days of work interspersed with hikes and enjoying the mountains. All my work was video calls and the internet was NO problem at all, if that is important to you.It was awesome to be able to take my lunch breaks on the deck overlooking the creek, and I definitely took advantage of the hot tub. Also amazing to be a quick drive into the Pisgah Forest for a hike after work.If you like to cook, you'll be happy with the kitchen. I found everything I needed.The bedroom loft was great and the bed itself really comfy. I kept the windows open every night and it was so nice to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the creek.Hot Springs is trying hard to come back, though not everything is up and running just yet. I managed to grab a spot at the Hot Springs resort, and I stopped by Sara Jo's store almost every day (imagine finding hand made tamales and some locally made salsa!). A bit farther away is the Trust General Store and Cafe--I've eaten at the Cafe in the past and it's great (I missed their opening for the season by one day!). It's the perfect stop if you decide to hike Max Patch, as I did.Overall I loved my stay and I appreciate how easy it was to communicate with the owners.

Sleeping to the trickling of the creek

Very unique and eclectic, helping you know you are on vacation and not in sleek hotel. The gurgling of the creek all night long (window strategically located was left open at night: heavenly. This may not be the best choice for someone needing to make trip(s) to the restroom throughout the night, since the bedroom is upstairs.

45th Anniversary in this lovely cottage

The cottage was as good or better than the pictures on Vrbo, and we had a delightful time. No electronic "babbling brook" generator could match the sound of Spring Creek just outside the door. Proximity to town and hiking were both great. Perfect weather helped, but had it rained we could have just stayed indoors and enjoyed ourselves just as much. Can't thank you enough, Karen!!

Super relaxing, positive energy

This cute riverside cobblestone restored our energy and offered tranquilty, beauty and peace. We enjoyed swimming in the river, drinking wine on the beautiful deck overlooking the river, taking our showers in the outdoor shower, and Simmering in the hot tub in tje evenings. Sweet memories at the Stone Cottage

From the very start, everything about the Stone Cottage exceeded our expectations. The creekside location, the ambience of the house itself. We were continually impressed by the thoughtful details of the Cottage and its decor. We had everything we needed, linens, paper products, seasonings, a fully equipped kitchen. Even a first aid kit! This is by far the cutest and well equipped vacation property we have ever rented. We would love to return. We made great memories at the Stone Cottage! Loved the guest book rock pile too ❤️

Relaxing

The cottage was wonderful. The sound of the creek just melted away any stress. The hot tub was wonderful as well as was the quiet setting and location. We enjoyed the small town of Hot Springs and everything it offered. We will definitely be back in the future.

June in the mountains

Arriving during a heat wave we thought there might be thunderstorms. Fortunately, the rain (which was badly needed in the area) held off until the late eveing on our departure day. Relaxing by the stream makes it diificult to take advantage of the many hiking trails in the area, but we always get in some excursions. Returning for a nice hottub before bed takes away any aches. I'm certain we'll be back soon.

We like Hot Springs at Stone Cottage as a stop splitting a lomger trip as it is quiet and restful. We've now stayed at Stone Cottage in all seasons and have found it ideal. We expect to stay again in the near future.

Little Bit of Heaven

Wow- just an incredible stay. The cabin was spectacular and spotless. The creek beside us provided incredible sounds for resting. The weather was cool and the hot tub "Hot" which made for wonderful evenings. Fantastic internet and the location was just a step away from town however you felt secluded from the nearby residences. The post and beam home had wonderful decor and just the attention to details was incredible. We highly recommend for a romantic getaway or just resting from the Appalachian Trail hikes. We cannot say enough about this property. Great Owners and Communication.
