The AC did not work until the morning we checked out. We wrote the host the evening we arrived but it was past their office hours. They responded late the next morning, several hours after opening. Afterwards the host was mostly responsive, but it sounds like the construction in the building caused power to be shut off to the lanai, where the AC was plugged in. The water was also scheduled to be shut off for several hours. Info was posted by the building but not in the elevator we took to check-in/enter so we didn't know until it was already off. Knowledge of these inconveniences would have been appreciated in advance of check-in. The full schedule was available so the host could have informed us of all these challenges earlier.

Our host was very good at communication. Details about check-in, check-out, parking, questions answered. Construction explained. The property location was excellent. Was a little disappointed with the "kitchen" as there was no stove. They did have pots and pans and a hot plate, but that was not what we were expecting. We made it work.

Functional but....

Location is great, the parking that is included is also great and so is the self check in process. The room in the other hand needed a bit of tlc. Curtains are stained and ripped and so was the cover of the desk lamp. Shower curtains also had stains towards the bottom of them and the closet door was broken and found underneath the bed. Lastly you couldn't lock the front door completely, the code disabling button did not work meaning anyone that knows the code could open the door at any time, wouldn't be much of a problem if the security chain wasn't removed. Like I said, just a little tlc..

True to picture, great extras and fantastic location.

The place itself was just as pictured. It was clean, had a comfortable bed and was easy to check in. Our room had a view of the ocean from one of two balconies. There were items such as snorkeling gear, a beach umbrella, beach chairs, body boards, beach towels and even a couple cooler bags. The designated parking spot was so nice. The best part was the location. It was within walking distance to the beach, International Market Place, the Zoo and Aquarium (20 min walk) and so many other places. It was just perfect for us. We stayed 9 days and I have no complaints. I’d recommend staying there.

In the heart of Waikiki!

We enjoyed our stay in this clean, well-appointed property. It was relatively quiet considering it is in the heart of the city, but within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. There were lots of beach accessories for our use, including umbrella, chairs, snokels, etc. We would recommend this property for a short visit.

Great location and free parking space

Room was as described. TV with cable was nice instead of just an app tv. The location to international marketplace, Nordstrom Rack, Marukame Udon and Starbucks was the best. Having your own free parking space was great too. I would recommend staying at Marine Surf. Street noise in the evening kinda loud but if you are tired enough, you sleep. Bed could be firmer but that’s preference.

The prefect stay for a family with little ones!

My husband and I with our two kids. A 1 year old and a 5 year old stayed here for 4 nights. It was great! I really appreciated that the unit had a full kitchen. My kids are picky eaters and we were able to cook the things they like to eat. The restroom had a tub, which made bath times much easier! The location was perfect. Walking distance Ice Monster, beach, grocery stores and much more. The parking was free! Huge plus for the Waikiki area. I would definitely stay here again. The manager and owner Niko was very kind and quick to respond my calls and messages. The unit was missing some frying pans and he quickly made it happen! The housekeeper Ulla was also super nice and made herself available by giving me her cell in case I needed anything. Thank you so much!

Great location close to delicious food (heavenly island lifestyle right next door and Marukame ramen down the street) and easy walk to the beach. It is also just across the street from Ross- very convenient in case you forgot to pack something. We very much appreciated the dedicated parking space as we took day trips around the island. It was great to not have to worry about finding a spot when we got back. Interior is basic but had everything we needed to recharge at the end of the day. Plus it was nice to make a quick breakfast on days we didn’t want to eat out. We also took advantage of the included beach gear and it all worked well. Would recommend
