10/10, would definitely stay again
We only stayed one night, breaking up travel from the Dublin ferry, but were more than happy with the hotel. Greeted warmly, room was really nice with a very comfy bed and the bathroom was huge - with a clawfoot tub and separate shower. We had our dog with us ate at the dog friendly bar, food and service were great. It was so nice getting to sink into a hot bath before bed. when we woke we were excited to see the view of the bay, our dog had a great time running around on the beach before we had to start the long drive home.

Fantastic stay!
Had a fantastic 3 night stay at the Trearddur Bay Hotel. The hotel staff are so friendly and the hotel feels like a home away from home. Our dog accompanied us on the stay and enjoyed every minute of his time on the beach, which is less than a minutes walk away. Our dog was treated like one of the family by all hotel staff and he especially enjoyed his breakfast treats. Lots of dog friendly places to eat out around the bay but the food at the hotel snug bar was our favourite. Relaxing and cosy with a good menu to suit all.

Stayed in Room 12 - the view from the window was not great.. Also a bit noisey with the workmen working from 7am - 8am in the room above. So very tired.

Hello Fouzia, Thank you for providing us with feedback from your stay, I can only apologise for the noise disturbance, you experienced during your stay all guests are informed of building wok being done at the hotel via confirmation email, however work should not of commenced until 9am. Unfortunately our standard bedrooms are located at the back of the hotel so do not have a view. Kind regards, Reception team

Great hotel
W had a great stay and everything was perfect except the WiFi in the room but we got by using data instead. The staff were excellent and very friendly. Would stay again.

Fabulous experience
I arrived exhausted from the ferry after a week of travelling all over Ireland, and was met by Chloe who was lovely and friendly lady. When I asked me for a quiet room she went one better and gave me an upgrade. The room was amazing. It was beautifully decorated with a large bay window with seating, and an enormous bed. There was water and a cafetière and it really did have an element of luxury. I didn’t have food as I had eaten on the ferry, but I definitely will next time, as the menu looked good. All in all it was a great experience and I will be back in February.

This property is a gem. Mind that there is no lift to the upper floors so heavy suitcases may be a problem for some although we were asked if we’d like assistance in getting them upstairs. The ac/heater did not work well. The property was rather damp and our bedding seemed to stay wet because of it. The restaurant was fabulous! The food was great! The are around the property was fun to explore and the adventure was definitely worth the 1 minor inconvenience. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come across the sea by ferry.

Great location
Wonderful location. Hotel in the process of being refurbished. Our room had been refurbished and was lovely, but would benefit from new windows, including a small one for ventilation - the only way to get fresh air was to open the door onto the balcony and the carpet got wet when it rained! Lovely staff. Swimming pool is a bit utilitarian and not the best in cold weather - would be lovely in the summer. But location and booked are fab. Some great place w to eat in the town too.

The Reception Staff and Bar Staff were superb. One of the Waiters in the Inn at the Bay completely flipped and was woefully untrained. He must have checked himself and had words because he actually made an effort to redeem himself when he returned to our table. This experience left us with a really horrible taste, sadly, because the rest of the staff were lovely and extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. Supervisors need to ensure that areas in the public loos are spotless, eg behind the wash handbasin pedestals. Also check floors behind bathroom doors. There was a lump of something very suspicious behind my bathroom door which I didn't dare pick up. My friend's omelette at breakfast was burnt and inedible. This was extremely poor service for a hotel of its class. Also, the catering manager needs to review their sauces on their dishes eg my Caesar Salad dressing was very poor, as well as the sauce on the Eggs Benedict. Money needs to be spent on the exterior decor/maintenance. The guttering needs clearing and paintwork is in need of a refresh.

The hotel is really tired, not very clean and definitely what I would consider a 4 star hotel. That being said, it's close to a scenic beach with some decent dining options nearby.

Relaxing Stay on Anglesey Island
The hotel is in a lovely setting, just a stone's throw from the beach. Beautiful garden area. We were given a very warm welcome. We stayed in room 5, which has a double-aspect sea view. The bed was massive, with a comfortable sofa and plenty of room. The bathroom had plenty of space, apart from the sink being slightly too close to the toilet. The shower has plenty of power. Lots of choice of drinks, including a Nespresso machine and a cafetiere, with fresh milk in the little fridge. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel - the food was well cooked and delicious. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the service was excellent!

Hotel in a lovely position. Nice touch with fresh flowers in the room. Thought it was expensive per night, not enough draw and wardrobe space in rooms and hit on miss withe service both for evening meal on the restaurant and for breakfast. Excellent service in the bar restaurant.

The hotel is very worn and therefore not very clean. There was black mold all along the bottom of the shower glass door.

Clean hotel, comfortable and friendly staff
Stopped for one night in cottage 44 as we were catching the 9am ferry to Dublin. Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival. We stayed in cottage 44 which was on the side of the group of cottages. The room was small, but had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. Shower was clean and worked well. We booked an evening meal for 7pm. The meal was cooked as we ordered and my wife and I both enjoyed our meals, which came out in about the right amount of time for them to have been cooked fresh. We arrived 10 mins early for breakfast to start at 7am and I think the staff guessed we were leaving for the ferry, so let us sit down early and took our order straight away, which we appreciated. Breakfast was OK and my wife and I both enjoyed it. Glad we had breakfast as we didn’t eat until 7pm that evening so the breakfast set us up nicely. All in all, I couldn’t fault the hotel, the cleanliness or the staff. We are travelling back to Dublin next year with our children and their partners and are booking again with this hotel. For us, we don't know many hotels near Holyhead so when we find a good one, we'll keep coming back. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant experience.
