« This is a fabulous hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, very good food, comfortable and well appointed rooms. Great location on the Northumbrian coast in a village which is a delight to walk round. »

« This is an institution but honestly I'd rather have a drink here and sleep elsewhere. The staff were very kind and helpful. It was mainly that because of the awesome pub it is noisy until pretty late. More from people on the street going in an out than the pub itself. It was pretty warm so I needed to leave the window open for some air. It is in the middle of town and safe and clean though, only the partiers were a problem but I was there on a Friday night. »

« I only stayed a few hours, and I couldnt put anything down, I arrived late at night someone was helpful and showed me to my room, the staff played with my kiddo in the morning while she cooed at them (shes 1 year and 5 months) during breakfast! « Very clear instructions how to sign in. Room was lovely with a view of the sea and very good value for money! They even let me know that the carpark was going to be out of use due to the local festival taking place in the carpark. Only slight issue was the very good selection of books available that I couldn't possibly read in one night!! 😅! All in all a very nice place! 👍 »
