Quiet and convenient
Great spot to kick off our trip after arriving late and having adventures the next morning. Great communication with owner. Simple place but met our needs perfectly. Bring your own coffee.

Loved this place
Great little bungalow. Close to town but far enough away to relax. Place doesn’t picture as beautifully as it is. Would definitely come back. Bed is very comfortable!

There were ants in the Kleenex box. The pillows were flat as pancakes. It needs to be replaced. The mattress was uncomfortable. There was no paper towels.

Perfect location!
We stayed here for 4 nights and it’s the perfect place for a single person or couple. The location can’t be beat, it’s close to almost everything. Easy to find with google maps, and host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Excellent location!
This spot was the perfect location for us to explore the Kona side of the island. It is located on the slopes away from the city noise and traffic, yet is close enough to get to downtown quickly or to go snorkeling at nearby beaches. Farsheed was very nice to us and answered all our questions and text in a timely manner. We would consider staying here again!

Affordable, private, nice area. Farsheed responded to my text and followed up when I needed a coffee filter. The room could do with dishwashing detergent, a hair dryer, but other amenities were available.

Cozy adventure
This was a cozy little bungalow that encouraged a sense of adventure. It was clean and shower products were provided which was great after spending the day traveling or exploring outdoors. It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough that a short drive will get you downtown. We ended our Hawaiian adventure here and it was a fun contrast to the busy resorts.

Small but convenient spot.
Small room, but the location is convenient. It’s within 10 min to restaurants and super close to the tour meeting sites. Lodging is clean and cute.

Great location for Kona
Location is great for Kona based activities. Farsheed, the host, was very responsive and accommodating. This place is no frills, true bungalow style living. Just off the main road, but felt safe and secure. There are high up windows with screens only, no glass, so you will hear nature at night. We had a great stay!

This is one grade above camping! Thin walls where we can hear next door neighbor talking sneezing. Place is tight. No place to put stuff, no iron, no hair dryer. Very basic. The room not covered so bright in morning. Noisy roosters all night. Cat pee smell all over front porch. Showed up and all the soap n shampoo bottles empty. Had to ask for more. Shower was leaking water all over bathroom floor.

I am beyond happy with my choice to stay here! The fan was a little noisy, but honestly it helped drown out the rosters and lulled me to sleep every night lol. It was the perfect quiet little get away I had hoped for.

They say pets welcome, then say there was a mess. The driveway is difficult and hard to find as the map they show you will not take you to the property in fact it goes way up and out of the way, be aware of wrong map. The front walk way is dangerous and under construction

The host was very responsive, answering questions and responding to requests. The place was clean, but small. Worked for us. Note that this is a bedroom and bathroom with a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Shared outside table.

Perfect for passing though
We needed a place to get our "Hawaii legs" under us and scout nearby and this was perfect. It's cute, clean and gets you in the spirit of the island right away. Only complaint was a squeaky fan but I managed that with earbuds and white noise. If you just need a quiet home base with a nice view, this is the place for you.

Comfortable bed, pleasant owner, relatively quiet, good water pressure, clean. Problems include: noisy squeaking ceiling fan which was needed to cool the room on a very warm night, no way to make the room dark at night, no smoke detector, poorly working small refrigerator and hopefully only an occasional problem: having to walk by foul smelling garbage to get to the “bungalow” (which is exactly what it was). Ok for one night, not more. Overall, a 2.5 star place IMO.

Nice place and great location near Kona
We stayed here for our last few days on the Big Island. The unit is small but that's what we expected. The location is great with nearby coffee tours, beaches and about 10 minutes from the main drag in Kona along with the Kona Brewery. We hope to return to the Big Island soon. It's now our favorite island in Hawaii!

50th Wedding Anniversary
Needed a place for one night at the end of our trip. Nice, reasonably priced (for Hawaii) accommodations before returning home early the next morning. Owner easy to work with. Just what we needed.

The owner was really nice and i dont like talking bad about things but the noisy roosters all night was just too much. I understood the fireworks because it was new years eve but they eventually quit. I even wore earplugs! The steep driveway is a bit scary as well. If you are paying someone 75 bucks to clean for you i would get your money back.

Pleasant Bungalow
Both my partner and I really enjoyed staying here. Farsheed was very helpful and the bungalow was very comfortable. That’s for the location it’s right with in the coffee belt near all the coffee farms. Which is great! It’s also not too far from downtown. It’s just a 10 or 15 minute drive. If you’re looking for some thing that is earthy and pleasant, this vrbo is a good choice!

Nestled in high ground
Quite setting away from the hustle & bustle of downtown Kona. The room is comfortable and has good amenities such as a microwave, small refrigerator, etc. With windows open both front and back, natural breeze keeps the room cool enough that it almost gets slightly chilly by 2-3am. The birds chirping throughout the night makes you feel like you are in the middle of a forest! For overnight stay, it was perfect!
