Bring a four-legged friend and strike out on foot to explore Devon’s beautiful Ruby Country or venture further afield to Bodmin Moor, 15.5 miles away, or Dartmoor, 21 miles away. Pack your beach gear and spend time on the sand at Widemouth Bay, 10.5 miles away, or Summerleaze Beach, where you can swim, surf and dip in the saltwater pool. Embark on a 5.5-mile walk along the South West Coast Path from Boscastle to Tintagel, where the legends of King Arthur are said to have taken place.
