I gave it overall a 3 but don’t mean it as anything bad, just average - which to me was good enough for what I needed! Room had a lingering smoke smell which I assume means it had previously been a smoking room many years ago - that was kind of a bummer. Bathroom was small. Bed was fantastic and I didn’t hear anyone else in the hotel which are my top two priorities. Pool was good and open early/late which was convenient. The A/C seemed a little sketchy, not convinced it was working properly but again was good enough. I’d stay here again!

Rooms were not as nice/updated as appearance on website; they were however clean. The bathroom was also extremely small and not portrayed adequately online. Staff was friendly and nice.

Pool not heated, no usb ports in the room. Layout very strange, only one elevator could be used to get to room even though there were multiple elevators.

Nice hotel for the money. Good breakfast, although eggs were undercooked second morning. Wish they had a waffle maker. A few minor hick ups: ants In the room, cloudy water in the room with way too many chemicals, both times I approached the desk I had to wait awhile for someone to be there, during daytime, soap ran out in the shower but no one filled the bottles, needs renovations, bathroom door with broken wood parts showing. Needs some work but I wasn’t expecting much more for that money. No major inconveniences.

There was mold all through the bathroom door, water leaked out from the tub, there was dirt in the bed sheets, open soap container in the wastebasket but no soap for me to use. Looked like someone had been in the room or that it was not fully cleaned after the prior stay. Curtains were also broken on the one side so hard to close when you are on first floor and there is a sidewalk right outside your window.

Great Experience
The hotel was pretty nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It was a good price. The hotel restaurant was very good. The food was great. The chef and the bartender were amazing. Lindsay was the bartender. She did a great job. The breakfast downstairs at that hotel restaurant was also good. It was a fair price. They had great coffee. No complaints at all. That waitress was very nice. The front desk was very helpful. The pool was being chemically balanced, and having maintenance for two days. That was the only thing that was a little disappointing. But overall, this was a great stay. I highly recommend it.

This would have been a good stay, but the hotel allows children to be in the pool and hot tub right up until it closes at 11pm - we were unable to use the hot tub because of children literally cannon balling into it. Very very loud, running around and screaming and hotel did nothing about it. Our room faced the pool, so this was bothersome. Staff even apologized in advance for the noise of the kids but continued to do nothing about it.

The shower in my room was terrible, it took literally 5 min to get hot water. Majority of the ice machines were broken, had to go to different floors for ice. Hot tub was broken, several guests complained about the same thing, room was average at best, facilities need an update. Staff @ the property were excellent

Misleading advertisement regarding pets.
Made reservations to stay over night after visiting family. Double tree Inn was advertised as pet friendly. Upon arrival front desk clerk informed me that absolutely no pets were allowed and not particularly helpful in finding another place to stay in her area. Now I am trying to get my $ back as I booked through Expedia and they won't refund us until they speak with Double Tree Inn and are unable to get anyone to answer their phone . Customer service???

I am sorry but expedia has it wrong on there site! However, guest services DID in fact help you with finding two different Hilton properties the Home2 Suites and Hampton Inn are BOTH pet friendly hotels and I was the one to find them for you my dear. Please do not say you didn't get any kind of help because you did. Have a great day Kathy, your friendly guest service agent (Jennifer). However, Expedia has to call us directly. Which they probably haven't. And that is what you get for booking third party. Love and light!
