We had an excellent 3 night stay at this lovely small chic boutique hotel. The cuisine and staff service were top class. The setting and location is lovely. We would very much like to return in future.

There is nothing that I did not like! Everything was superb-the grounds, the rooms, the service, the beach. The staff of this hotel deserves a post on its own as it was the friendliest, most caring team ever. Can’t wait to return to The Sandpiper!!

Hotel and staff were all great and very accommodating with any requests. Harold's bar and beach staff were very friendly, would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Facility is quite dated, patronized by older British couples. For 2 day stay, check-in was late afternoon but prematurely forced out of room on departure day prior to 11 am.

Thank you for your recent review. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback as this helps us to improve. Each year, we close our hotels to facilitate refurbishment. This annual closure has allowed us to enhance and maintain the appearance of our properties. We are however sorry to hear that you were not impressed by our updates. With regards to your departure, it is unfortunate that you were asked to check out prior to 11 am as this is not our protocol. Typically (where possible), guests are accommodated until pick-up time in their room/s, or we try to accommodate them in a hospitality suite. We apologise that this was your experience and have passed on this feedback to the team for review.

Beautiful hotel - superb location & great service
Great hotel - suite was excellent - elegant, with great views and with a beautiful terrace and outside area. Perfect location for getting onto the beach, into Holetown and a base to explore the island. Staff were superb!

Short business trip
Excellent hotel in Holetown directly on the beach and a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Lovely staff, good food and well furnished large rooms in a traditional Barbados style. I stayed there for a work trip but it is a great base for a holiday. I will return

Absolutely superb!
Amazing hotel, as a returning guest, all the staff were as helpful as ever delivering a personal yet professional service. It’s great to have them all back after 6 months of closure! They also arranged my fast track at the airport, transportation and my Covid test which came back in 20 hours meaning quarantine was a short process!

Th resort was absolutely wonderful - the food was outstanding and the staff was beyond nice and helpful! There are a few things for consideration - the hotel could do a better job giving information and options on activities to do - boat tours, snorkeling, hikes, spa treatments at the sister hotel etc. As someone who doesn't know what the island has to offer, you rely on the staff to help guide you. The other thing, which is sort of out of the hotel's control is the presence of children. Since the property is small and you will either lounge at the pool or beach, if they are in both places, it's hard to escape their noise etc.

Sandpiper is Great!
Nice hotel, clean and excellent service. High prices for food at the hotel and a taxi to other locations like Bridgetown. Will cost you about $55 USD roundtrip. The other option is to take the bus with the locals but being first time in Barbados, we werent sure about taking the bus and not knowing where we were going. Overall felt safe during our stay. Nice people! Recommend Sandpiper, in a good location, if you can afford it .

Superb resort!
We just came back from this wonderful place. We have been to Barbados many times before and stayed in various hotels and resorts. This is by far the best place we have ever stayed at- terrific experience!! beautiful sea-side property with testefully decorated rooms and great beach. Staff are courteous, non-intrusive but attentive- they go above and beyond to insure their guests are happy and taken care of. This hotel is well-situated and is within short walking distance to Limegrove and to a supermarket. There is no doubt we will be back and will refer our friends and family to this wonderful property.

Staff, cleanliness, attitude, and over property was absolutely impeccable !! EVERY guest we met have been coming to the Sandpiper repeatedly for years- which I now see why and speaks volumes. We will be one of those guests. Never rate or post but felt compelled to for people like myself who want 5-star and very much received it at the Sandpiper.

Beautiful hotel in so many ways - really magic setting with tranquil gardens. Food was exceptional - from the breakfasts to wonderful local seafood at dinner. The staff we amazingly attentive and had the gift of being incredibly efficient yet still maintaining a relaxing Bajan atmosphere.
