The restaurant only serves breakfast so feel like this should be clear when you book and also the bar and restaurant is up a decent steep hill not where we were actually staying. Other than that staff were lovely and it's a standard hotel room. It is very convenient to other restaurants and bars😊

Perfect location - walk to Battery Point or Salamanca Place or the city. Great little studio apartment in really good condition. Lovely staff. Easy and secure parking. My new go to accommodation for Hobart.

Large unit next to Salamanca Place
A pleasant, large and well equiped unit close to the waterfront. Plenty of light and view of Mt Wellington but not of the harbour. Good value for money. Check in is at the Lenna Hotel which is across the street but up a very steep hill which makes pulling bags interesting!

Great for all the stores and markets around the harbor. Lovely walking through the streets of Hobart. Convenient to the tour office for booking tours or getting information. Parking is tricky as the hotel is on a very, very steep hill but once you do it you get use to it.

My stay at the Salamanca Terraces in Hobart was a blend of satisfaction and mild inconvenience. The hotel's accommodation itself met my expectations, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The rooms were well-maintained, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was very pleasing. However, the check-in process did not match the smoothness of the rest of my stay. There was a lack of clear communication regarding the check-in procedure. It was not indicated beforehand that the reception area was actually located in a different hotel across the street. This unexpected detail caused a bit of confusion and inconvenience upon arrival. Despite this initial hiccup, the overall quality of the hotel was commendable. The facilities and services provided were of a high standard, contributing to a memorable stay. While the check-in process could be improved with better communication and clearer instructions.

The room was a little tired but overall comfortable and had everything I needed. The walls/ceiling were not very soundproof. Luckily all the guests were very quiet.

We knew there we upgrades available because we checked the website just before checking in. So when we checked in I said “I believe we need tell you we are Expedia Gold VIP for rewards” the guy checking us in said “that’s nice” in such a dismissive tone I was too embarrassed to say “that means we get an upgrade”. There was a bottle of wine in the room but disappointed as we were expecting the upgrade. Room was clean and comfy bed/pillows. Location was good. Did not have standard facilities such as USB plug sockets which are pretty normal in most rooms now.

I just wished there was more information of the sort of shops and restaurants that were within walking distance, but, other than that, I loved it for the staff, the conditions, the space, the beds, and the convenience of having everything we wanted to do in close proximity. Very close to the Salamanca markets and central to facilities. Good view and a safe place for the car. The property had plenty of space and a full kitchen, however there wasn’t a frying pan or a chopping board. The bathroom maintenance could do with some attention but overall it is an excellent base to explore Hobart & surrounds.
