Staff friendly and helpful. That’s where the praise ends. We paid $370 for a very small room, the bathroom light and fan didn’t work making the room humid and smelly, the view out of the window was a brick wall and breakfast wasn’t included. Mantra may consider this good value during the off season. I don’t.

Good location. Disappointing that smart tv wifi connection had been disabled so unable to mirror etc movies for the night. We were told this function on all smart tvs had been disabled for security reasons. Paid parking by a private parking company is available for Mantra on Collin’s Hobart.

THE MANTRA HOTEL WAS LOCATED IN A QUITE AREA ,HANDY TO SHOPS AND WATER FRONT. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENTAND ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. ON THE DOWN SIDE RESTUARANT ONLY SERVED BREAKFAST AND HOTEL DID NOT HAVE ITS OWN CAR PARKING AREA.

Great location, minutes to the waterfront and the cbd. Staff are helpful and the included breakfast was great. The king room i stayed in was modern and clean and well heated to get you through a Tasmanian winter!

Nice, but noisy.
A lovely stay. Hotel in close proximity to CBD and Salamanca. Room was clean well appointed. Comfortable bed. A wonderful breakfast. Only disappointed was the street noise. We were on the 7th floor and it felt like a window was open. We could clearly hear traffic, sirens and even people talking out on the street. Probably won’t stay again, will look for accommodation with better soundproofing.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, super comfortable bed. The only negatives were that the windows/blinds didn’t block out much street noise, and the parking conditions were restrictive (could only enter/exit once on discounted rate)

Very annoying that not able to lower air conditioner temp in room below 20 degrees c. Foyer nice and cool but room hot on western side of the building and for pricec of tarriff should be able to have room as cool as required.
