As a Vietnamese American returning to Saigon after more than 40 years, I chose Acnos Grand Hotel in District 3 as my first stop before visiting other cities. The hotel gave me a soft and friendly landing. Traffic outside was intense â pedestrians, scooters, and cars flowing in all directions â but somehow, it all works! CĂł lá»i bÄng qua ÄÆ°á»ng cáșŁ hai phĂa, nĂȘn tĂŽi cĆ©ng máșĄnh dáșĄn⊠hoĂ vĂ o dĂČng xe! Háșżt xáșŁy con cĂ o cĂ o!
Breakfast? Letâs just say: Än cÆĄm TĂ u, á» nhĂ TĂąy â as long as you donât expect to láș„y vợ⊠Nháșt! In other words, itâs more than decent â a good, satisfying mix that starts your day right.
On check-out, there was a small misunderstanding about an extra fee. I respectfully asked to speak with the manager â the American way. Mr. Vinh listened patiently, understood my unique case, and adjusted the charge in a way that was both fair and kind. Hợp tĂŹnh, hợp lĂœ, and a true reflection of Vietnamese hospitality.
Clean, quiet, convenient, and full of charm â this place is tháșt ÄĂĄng Äá»ng $ bĂĄt gáșĄo, nhĂ© quĂœ vá» Äang Äá»c! I even rebooked it for my return to Saigon before flying back to the U.S. â and that alone says how much I appreciated the experience.â
